When I read these words, I immediately envisioned a person, legs trembling and giving way, a figure collapsing toward the earth, conceding defeat. I know I am not alone in admitting that I have an affinity with Marianne’s words. A sense of something not right, a feeling of discomfort or unspoken words, an ‘elephant in the room’ or the awareness of feeling you could cut the air with a knife? Do you have a less than positive friend who offloads to you and leaves you feeling affected?... We are made of energy, and when we’re less than happy, the energy of this can permeate the environment we are in. Whether it be unkind words, frustration with homeschooling, belligerence or feeling down or sad, cleansing a room or yourself can assist in removing this energy.
