25.01.2022 Day 67 continued I thought that I’d screwed up my navigation - I’d taken the most direct route, avoiding the actual town of Murray Bridge - but it started to look like crossing the Swanport Bridge was going to be impossible. I wa a relieved to find a walkway and deemed my situation to be an emergency... if you look at the width of the path and the proximity to heavy traffic, then you may get a sense of the amount of adrenaline being pumped around my body - I still managed ...to get some photos #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ Swanport, South Australia, Australia

17.01.2022 Day 68 Distance 56.7km Total 3009.5km Overnight Kiki... Having finished at the caravan park the night before meant that we got a good start to the day. Starting with some great views of the river and ferry, the day brought great weather, a bit of time in an area of stunning natural beauty - and even a chance roadside meeting with some parkrun friends! #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ Tailem Bend Ferry

16.01.2022 Day 65 Day 65 brought a little drive through Mclaren Vale, out to Mclaren Flat for a lunchtime pizza feast thanks to Geoff and Jane Smith - @shellsmiracles parents for organising a group of friends to come around and make a real event of things including raising some more funds for the cause. I’d stayed at Michelle’s uncle’s place when I was walking from Bunbury to Perth, and now her family were playing a part in things once again. There would be a third time, but we’ll leav...e that for later in the look back #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ McLaren Vale, South Australia
16.01.2022 Day 66 Distance 50.2km Total 2899.6km Overnight Mt Barker Caravan Park... So after a fabulous weekend in Adelaide, it was time to get back on the road. Heading out of Adelaide in the dark, it was time to head for the hills and then onwards towards Victoria. The break had been fantastic but now it was time to get back into the swing of things! #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ Adelaide, South Australia

12.01.2022 Day 66 continued The Adelaide Hills proved to be a wonderful area to walk through. Several small towns in relatively close proximity, green rolling hills... it reminded me of Somerset, where I grew up in the UK. Seeing a town called Bridgewater simply added to the effect! #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ Crafers, South Australia
12.01.2022 Day 67 Distance 53.2km Total 2952.8km Overnight Westbrook Park... When I look back, it feels like it took longer to get from Adelaide, through the hills and to Tailem Bend. Reality is the hills were done in one day, and now we were definitely marching on strongly. There was a lot more in terms of civilisation now - which was a nice change in some ways, but I was also missing the peace and quiet of the Eyre Hwy! #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ Tailem Bend, South Australia
10.01.2022 Day 66 continued The Adelaide Hills region really was stunning. One day I’ll be back. Especially Hahndorf #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ Bridgewater, South Australia
05.01.2022 Day 66 continued The climb out of Adelaide and into the Adelaide Hills was a bit of a slog, but breathtakingly beautiful. I had also lost the drinking valve on my camelbak - somewhere on the Nullarbor - had failed to locate one in any shops, and unbelievably I found one climbing those hills! ... It was boiled and disinfected and sterilised and boiled again - eventually I brought myself to use it. Spoiler alert - I didn’t die #HAA2015 #smallsteps2greatachievements #timetofly @hokaoneoneaustralia @tailwindnutritionaust @runwestperth @keeponrunningfloreat @usanaau @heartfoundationaustralia @ Adelaide, South Australia
