19.01.2022 As the use of personal media has grown, so has the uncertainty amongst the biggest users of being enough. Unconsciously we compare and we surmise that just because someone looks really nice in a bikini, has the perfect figure and the right outfit...They somehow have it more together. Our own unique learning curve may get thrown under a bus, by the very person that needs to champion us the most, ourself. In this May Day celebration, using the body based self corrective a...nd connective techniques of Heartschool. We will delve into the feminine psyche, we will sit with that which sabotages both our selves and our ability to hold space for our sisters through play:) https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/sisters-playing-in-the-shad
14.01.2022 The 1st of May May Day’ is traditionally a Northern Hemisphere celebration of the resurrection of nature after the winter months. It is normally celebrated with flowers, dancing and Maypoles, these celebrations sometimes crown the May King or Queen. Here in the Southern Hemisphere @ Heartschool, we have chosen this day to celebrate the courage of our sisterhood to own our polarities and darkness, and love ourselves there, by exploring the tensions held within our own g...ender, and in our own bodies through play. Come and play, and crown your own Queen. Heartschool Founder- Dr Simon Martin will be the Guest Support for part of the day. Look forward to embracing all that you are, all that you have been and all that you can to relax, nurture, nourish, play and explore. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/sisters-playing-in-the-shad Sorelle
14.01.2022 Heartschool - VOTE FOR BASS Things are moving fast for Heartschool community member Bass Tadross. Earlier in the week, ABC’s chief election analyst Antony Green published an article singling out Bass, to say there was a really strong chance he could be elected in the upcoming W.A. election. ... Since this article, Bass has been seen crossing notes with the premier Mark McGowan (pictured) to see if they could work together on issues related to health. In further developments, a Greens spokeswoman has said the party have placed Bass directly after its own candidates. Bass is a member of the Australian Health Party giving a voice to the alternative health narrative. If the Health Australia Party were to be voted in, it would mean that as the global health pandemic unfolds, Mr Bass Tadros a potential crossbencher could influence whether legislation passes through parliament. According to the ABC news. Election analyst, Kevin Bonham, agreed it was a realistic prospect and said Bass Tadros could win a seat with as little as 0.2 per cent of the vote. If I am elected into the upper house of parliament, I am taking Heartschool with me, said Bass. Please share the good word, especially to those in the Agricultural region. 11.01.2022 Notice how the grey matter of the brain extends down through the spine? So, the spine of the neck could be considered a ‘dynamic skull’ and extension of the cranial vault. The brevity of the tongue organ is under-represented / appreciated in day-to-day life. On functional MRI here we can see how it is such a prolific organ which roots much deeper in the throat than what we’d expect. Modern day spirituality is so concerned with the pineal gland, which is supposed to be in the... geographical centre of the skull, however the pituitary gland is just as poetic and relevant to the awakening of human potential. Imagine half of a gland migrating all the way from the throat, in an embryological pirate-ship journey, to find divine union with its counterpart, the other half of the gland in the brain - and the releaser of oxytocin. The pituitary sits in a literal, bony throne. In dissection, if you were to pull the brain (& cerebellum) out of the skull and look down - you will see the anterior & posterior pituitary, united as one. ~ Simon See more
05.01.2022 Social Emotional Healing ~ Friending vs Fawning It’s taken the world almost two thousand years to disentangle Mary-Magdalene-the-Sinner from Mary-Magdalene-the-Apostle in public opinion. Has it taken equally as long to unravel the two primary trauma responses in the female body? -...Continue reading
05.01.2022 The triangle above is how you heal your trauma. Most people don’t even know they are traumatised because their trauma is inter-generational - they literally don’t know any different. The primary symptom of trauma is being over functional. Read that again. Another name for the dis-ease of over-function is called success. Do more, do more, do more...then you’re safe. Then you will be happy. ... We eventually reach a breaking. Now, the culture of healing trauma is either over medicalised or through a practitioner-client dynamic lens. And we tend to have this inner-child (outside of our awareness) who is looking for a saviour, with the answers to ‘make it go away’; or hold our hand over a finish line, of a banner which reads HEALED!. The world does not need more Trauma Practitioners. Why? Because trauma, at its essence, is deeply, deeply intimate. Its only counter-part is perhaps the love making encounter with a spouse. Stay with me here. Q: If you could hold a partner into the heights of pleasure OR hold them through their deepest fears & shadows - which would you choose? A practitioner is a very important piece of the puzzle. And can help you get to ‘base camp’, so to speak. However if you want to climb the mountain of trauma, you need something much more valuable - you need friendship. The world has plenty of practitioners doing their best to deal with trauma; it has plenty of spouses dealing with trauma (whether they like it or not). So what’s the missing piece of the puzzle? A trauma practitioner is the silver medal; the real ‘trauma-specialist’, and the gold medal is our friends. You could not pay a professional enough to put up with the stuff your friends do. And vice-versa. And friendship is non-transactional. You don’t cook lunch for your Mum and then charge her $20. Or maybe you do . The same goes for your mates. Let’s up-skill our friends to deal with each-others trauma instead of enabling it. The world needs your patience. What’s the missing piece of the puzzle? Just like it takes a tribe to raise a child; it takes a tribe to hold a couple through their trauma. So. Give your self permission to over-correct. ~Let yourself melt

01.01.2022 Over the last 50 years, women have evolved to earn their place in parliament, in positions of leadership in corporations and adopt leading roles in science and education. However being able to support each other in times of need we may be told to put our big girl undies on and get on with it. How can we support each other without talk therapy? How can we tune into what our nervous system and our body has to process and move through, without the misery loves company game? ...Our next Heartschool Event is one for the sisterhood. Heartschool Founder- Dr Simon Martin will be the Guest Support for part of the day. I look forward to nourishing the self corrective and connective techniques that utilise the body based techniques of Heartschool on this event for the sisterhood on the 1st of May. Join me there.
