24.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT End of an Era / New Beginnings: It is time to put to rest our old name The Gathering Events and embrace our true/official name Hearts of Darkness Inc. The Gathering events was born in 2013 with The Gathering Winter Dance. Over the next 5 years from those crowdfunded beginnings, we brought you 19 Gatherings and four band nights. In 2018, using everything we’d gained and learned from past events, the team of six behind The Gathering events decided to start a not...-for-profit organisation to grow and give to the community: Hearts of Darkness Inc. Since then, we’ve been reluctant to finally let go of the name where it all began - but finally it’s time. We’ll still be bringing you the events you know and love: RITUALS - a cosy monthly residency at Akademi for our collective of DJs to show you what they love, and our big sister event A RITUAL GATHERING - a big party where you can dress up and dance and revel in the darkness with us.
