24.01.2022 Saw my first black cockatoos for the season this morning, down by the beach. They often take their time to reach the coastline and you may have seen them further inland. These majestic creatures represent the power of spirit coming to life...coming into YOUR life. There may be changes and emotion (they ar often seen as heads of the rains hence tied to the emotion) yet generally they are viewed as celebratory and a joyous transformation. I'm always joyous when the black cockatoos return, as to me they represent the beginning of the rainy season and a time to grow and flourish.

18.01.2022 Often when we 'get sick' we forget to see the beauty in the bodys ability to discharge and detox. Are our sicknesses the way the body eliminates accumulated toxins from the system? And if so, how can we best support our bodies (& minds) during this time. ... I very rarely 'get sick'. Yet this past week (after a 3 week juice and raw salad cleanse) my body went into huge detox mode. Even to the point of losing my voice completely and having a tooth removed that was infected and cracked. Wow what a ride! Interestingly enough I had a couple of big emotional clearings in the weeks leading up to the onset of this 'sickness' and coupled with the juicing I was well and truly ready for an upgrade to realign with the newest truth of who I know I am. We are not a body and a mind. We are a body/mind being. We will go through upgrades physical, emotional and spiritual. Be kind to yourself in these times. Rest well. Listen to your own innate wisdom and partake of the bountiful herbs and nourishment the earth offers. If you aren't vegan (contains honey) the following recipe is a godsend for congestion Teapot with cinnamon stick, handful thyme, juice 1 lemon, rind half a lemon (diced), grated ginger, honey. Pour in freshly boiled water and let steep 5 mins at least. Can reheat and drink throughout day - taken from Mim Beim's Natural Remedies. If we can redefine how we see 'sickness' we can support both our bodies and our minds through the upgrade to a place of greater awareness. Namastè
