24.01.2022 Why are you sad Mummy? Is it because the germs are coming?... yes baby girl, because the germs are coming... This last week has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster, I am exhausted and can not even find the words. Weve had 50+ of our couples having to make the difficult decision to either postpone or cancel thier weddings~ Our hearts break for them. The time leading up to your wedding day should be the most exciting time of your life, counting down the days till y...ou marry your best friend and getting excited to see all your your favourite people come together in one place is what its all about - you should not be having to tackle a plan on how best to arrange your wedding day around a global pandemic. . Along with our fellow industry peers this has also had an upsetting impact on us, not a challenge we could of ever anticipated but after 8 years of blood, sweat, tears and family sacrifice we will be damned if we let this bloody thing pull us down! We will be ok, with a solid 2020/21 events season booked ahead and having had a bloody good start to this one, we will ride this storm and make use of these spare days spending time with our little family and keep plodding away at our Heart Strings empire On that note we would like to thank all our clients that have re booked with us, new clients still sending enquiries and existing clients just checking in to discuss normal things like floor plans and styling ideas- you may not realise yet but this has given all us vendors so so much hope this week, To those who have had to cancel, our hearts go out to you, we hope you still manage to have your dream day in the near future and to our April/ May clients who have chosen to stick it and see what happens, challenge after challenge.. you have our support 100%, we got you ~ Lets get these parties started Xxx
