10.01.2022 Hi everyone If you are a nut lover like us, you need to come to the Berwick or Bentleigh Farmers Markets. There are three fantastic nut stalls, amazing freshly roasted hazelnuts from Hazelnut Valley, moorish peanuts and relishes ranging from mild, spicy to extremely hot from Dirty Doug’s and a variety of deliciously flavoured walnuts from Otway Walnuts. All of these are the freshest nuts you can buy. So if you are a lover of nuts, get to Berwick FM on the second Saturday of the month or East Bentleigh FM on the fourth Saturday of the month. Don’t forget while you are there to drop over to Heaston Estate and try some wine.

08.01.2022 Hi everyone, me again Mordialloc Cellar Door is a wine bar and bottle shop in Main Street,Mordialloc. Normally they are buzzing with people bringing takeaway from one of the local cafe/restaurants to their Cellar Door, where you can sit down and eat your meal while enjoying a nice glass of wine of your choice. In recent times the sitting side has had to stop, but you can still purchase bottles of wine, beer and spirits from the front counter. They have a very good range for you to choose from. So come on support the locally owned businesses and buy local.

You will find they have a bigger local range to choose from than Dan’s. It is well worth the visit, you won’t be disappointed. If you buy from Grape & Grain, you not only support their local business, but all the local breweries and wineries as well. So come on, buy local. PS. 01.01.2022 Heaston Estate is now the proud owners of The Gurdies Winery. While there is a lot happening at the Winery Cellar Door at the moment, we are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11am to 5pm and would love to share our vision for the winery with all our wonderful customers. Now that the ring of steel has been lifted, hop in your car and come out to see us. We are only 45 minutes from our Berwick market friends and an hour and ten minutes from our Bentleigh and Flemington market... friends. It's a very easy drive and the view from the Cellar Door is breathtaking. Make a day of it and visit our local Breweries, cafes and cheese makers, and of course enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the view.
