25.01.2022 As we navigate our way through the unchartered waters of the COVID-19 pandemic, it's a great opportunity to take stock of what our club means to each of us, and for many it won't just mean a round of golf. The friendships we have made, the lessons we have learned, the places we have been and everything in between. Golf has been there for us before and it will be again, better than ever. Stay safe all of our members and guests, we hope to be seeing you again very soon.

25.01.2022 Another big weekend at our club, Friday night saw the Johnny Cash and Friends tribute show, packing out the clubhouse, followed up by our Mixed Club Championships on Saturday, a change of hands for the trophy to Chelsea Wearne and Gerard Ellis. Congratulations to all involved this weekend!

15.01.2022 Today we had our green aerated with the Air2g2 machine. This machine uses three probes to laterally inject pressurized air up to 12-inches beneath the surface of the soil, in a diameter of up to 9 feet, reaching deep into the soil profile. Compacted layers form as a result of foot traffic, mechanical traffic and natures daily wear and tear. These laterally injected air blasts loosen compacted soil immediately, without any disruption to the surface of the turf or the roots below. The injected air relieves compaction, increases porosity and enhances respiration which in turn allows water to drain easily and promotes gas exchange. But most importantly, it does so with little to no disturbance to the turfgrass surface, the roots below and doesnt leave a trace of cores to clean up afterward.

05.01.2022 That wraps up a big weekend for us at HGC, Saturday saw our mixed club championships (Farley’s Trophy) taken home by Chelsea Wearne and Gerard Ellis. Nett honours went to anniversary couple Brice Pianta and Heidi Pianta Cook. Today the annual Kevin Ellis Memorial Day saw over 100 golfers take to the course, well done to all the winners and place getters from this great day too.

02.01.2022 As of Midnight Sunday 29th March, Heathcote Golf Club Will be closed until further notice in line with Golf Australias recent communication to clubs. It is GAs recommendation that, based on the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services directive issued as part of the Victorian Governments Stage 2 restrictions regarding COVID-19, all Victorian golf clubs and facilities should close as soon as practicable until April 13, 2020.
