21.01.2022 Mistake 1 - ignoring problems in their business. Mistake 2 - or applying band-aid solutions to long-term problems. Mistake 3 - or Not hiring someone to help with those problems.... Of course, all of these mistakes can be happening all at once! Does this sound like you?

18.01.2022 Last week I brought on a real estate client (in Victoria!) whose admin person left their business. She was slowly drowning in work and was desperately looking for someone to help out. During the week I did a myriad of tasks that felt small and meaningless (door flyer notifying visitors of office closure, as an example) that was a really big deal to her. While she was at a two hour meeting an hour and a half from the office, I was tackling the list of work she provided. By the... time we spoke on Friday afternoon she was impressed and said, "You are an amazing asset to the team!" Are you finding yourself in need of a staff person? 04.01.2022 2020 was not a fun year. But I've learned that the difficult times are a test of our mettle. Here's a list of 10 things that I learned in 2020. 1. That I'm worth it. 2. Owning a business doesn't have to feel like I'm on a deserted island and I have to do it all on my own. 3. I have a tribe.... 4. That my voice is wiser than I thought it was. 5. That I'm courageous. 6. I'm adventurous and ready to live MY life right now. 7. I can dream big and dare greatly. 8. My darkest places won't kill me and that they are trying to tell me something. I only have to be willing to listen. 9. Vulnerability is not just my friend but an ally in all my relationships. 10. I love this waking up to who I am. It's amazing catching sight of who I am. BONUS! 11. I learned that who I am and how I live my life is fine just the way it is and that I stopped comparing myself to other people's lives. See more

02.01.2022 My word is COURAGE. As in fearless. Not as without fear but to be afraid less. To act despite the fear I feel. To be vulnerable. The last three years I have done the whole word thing. The first year was FREEDOM, the second year was HOPE and this year is COURAGE. In order to help me remember my words I bought a Pandora bracelet and have purchased a bead every year to help me remember the words. I'm still working on the bead for this year...I will let you know what I find! This... year's word is because I have spent so much of my life living in fear. It's a deep fear that stems from my childhood. But I've done a lot of work in other areas and this year I feel fear melting off of me. And so this year is the right time to start facing the why's of those fears and giving myself permission to let them go. They served a purpose at one time but they are no longer doing that. It's the right time!! Do you have a word every year? If you do, what is your word for this year??
