25.01.2022 Love it when it all falls into place. If anyone is looking to travel, you must go and see Heather Burzacott at Flight Centre Blackwood. Heather organized my flights, accom & transfers for my trip to Singapore & Vietnam... the hotels she recommended & booked were fantastic and it was great not to have to worry about a thing. It is fantastic, when you have limited time yourself to research options and make your own arrangements, to trust someone else and then they exceed expectations. Such a wonderful feeling to arrive at the airport and have a friendly driver waiting to take me to my hotel. Thanks Heather, it has been a memorable trip! 09.01.2022 Was your flight out of Adelaide delayed yesterday. This could be why? THERE was apparently some excitement on the tarmac at Adelaide Airport yesterday, when a rogue goat escaped and ... went on a rampage.According to a Fairfax report, the beast was being loaded from a truck into a crate at about 7.30am when it made a break for freedom. An airport spokesman said obviously they chased the goat and it took about 15 minutes to recapture it, with no flights disrupted due to the incident.

A MESSAGE FROM AFTA January 2015 Member Alert: Online classifieds cheap flight scam The Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) has recently received information from a member agent advising of a booking scam operating via an online classifieds website. It is understood that independant advertisers are selling what appears to be discounted airfares... and receiving direct payment from consumers. The scammers then proceed to book a flight on behalf of the consumer with a legitimate travel company using a fraudulent credit card to pay for a standard airfare. Travel companies are then being hit by chargebacks once the true cardholder becomes aware of the unauthorised charge to their card. The airfare booking is subseqently cancelled, and the original consumer is out of pocket, has no air ticket and is unable to claim re-imbursement given they have paid by direct deposit. This important notice has been sent to all AFTA Members and ATAS Participants. Travel agents should do their own investigation relating to this matter and report any fraudulent activity to their respective Consumer Affairs or Fair Trading Department. We would like to remind consumers of the importance of booking travel through ATAS - accredited travel agents for peace of mind, and professional, expert travel support. See more
