21.01.2022 Hello, it’s Karyn McDermaid-Rolfe from Karyn's Croppers hosting the next hour of our #CLSSummer2020PJParty! I hope that you’re enjoying the PJ Party so far! T...oday I’m sharing two layouts that I created using the Vitamin Sea Collection and the Custom Cutting System with the Circle Cutting Patterns and the Jumbo Circle Cutting Pattern from Creative Memories. I also used the Original Border Maker System with the new Kissing Fish Border Maker Cartridge. I used the Custom Cutting System to cut hollow circle frames to create my inter-locking circle chain with jumping fish. Please watch my video for a demo on how to cut hollow frames and click through the photos for step-by-step instructions to create my layout. Please see my third post for instructions on creating my second layout. I would LOVE to see your version of my layouts! Please share in the comments below. Happy scrapping!

20.01.2022 Dazzle Wreath New Video! In today's #TechniqueTuesday video, I show how to use the Dazzle Border Punch to make a stunning wreath for your scrapbook page. The... technique is similar to the one I showed with the Seashell Border Punch, but because the Dazzle punch doesn't make a chain, you can get pretty creative with how you design the center of the wreath. You can leave the center uncut to make a page mat, or cut it to give that full wreath effect. Make a 2nd one in a contrasting color and offset layer for additional options. I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!

15.01.2022 New Video! Offset Arches Border I finally had a chance to play with Creative Memories new Arches Frame Punch! I love everything about this tool- it seems lik...e there are endless ways to use it. The offset technique I show here is a great one to try. While I've tailored this page to be a little more formal for wedding photos, it would be easy to mix up the paper selection to accommodate a multitude of other themes. I hope you have a chance use it! As always, thanks for watching! You can check out all my other videos on my YouTube Channel- https://www.youtube.com/c/MegganJacks

09.01.2022 I have the new Stockings Border in my hands and of course have to play! The "curve" of the border is a perfect match for the Ruffle Trim Border (currently out ...of stock, but more on that in a minute. ) I thought the stockings needed little white collars, so I included the measurements on how I did that - the Precision Point Adhesive made attaching them a breeze. A note about out of stock, returning items. Creative Memories has grown leaps and bounds this year as so many people have found more time to scrapbook or have (re)discovered the joy of scrapbooking. Creative Memories has added a "notify me" option for items marked as RETURNING. You will see the blue link under the product photo on the product page - click that and, if you are signed in to your account, it will add you to the notification list! Super easy! But back to the border... please click through photos for instructions.

02.01.2022 Hello and welcome to #BorderMakerMonday! Diana here from D. Brinsley's Memory Keeping Blog. Today I'm sharing two layouts using borders created with CM's new Ch...ristmas Spirit Collection. I had originally planned to create one border to share but fell in love with the super cute elves included in this collection and just couldn't stop at just one. I've included a photo of the tools used for this project as well as a hint for using repositionable tape runner so be sure to scroll through the attached photos. Basic Instructions: * I used Light Grey Cardstock for the base of both layouts. * All photo mats were cut to 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" * The edges of some pieces were inked with the Dot Tip of a Brown Dot Tip Pen. Let the ink dry for a few minutes before adding the inked piece to your page. * The fine tip of the Brown Dot Tip Pen was used for faux stitching. Border # 1: Wonderful Time 1. Using your 12-Inch Trimmer and the Scallop Blade on one side only, cut a 2 1/4" x 12" piece from Crimson Cardstock. Using the Straight Blade and the 12-Inch Trimmer, cut a 2" x 12" piece from the red and green pattern paper shown. Ink the outside edges if desired, Stack and adhere with the upper edge of the pattern paper even with the upper edge of the cardstock. 2. Using the 12-Inch Trimmer and the Straight Blade, cut four 1/8" x 12" strips from Crimson Cardstock (see photo for how to). Set aside 2 strips for layout. Using repositionable tape, adhere 2 strips to border as shown. 3. Using the Dazzle Border Punch, punch one 2" x 12" border from red pattern paper and one 1 1/2" x 12" border from white & red pattern paper shown. Stack and adhere as shown. Adhere to the underside of your border as shown. 4. Using the inside of the square pattern from the Rectangle Custom Cutting System Patterns and the green blade, cut a square from Dark Green Cardstock. Use the blue blade to cut a second square from the red pattern paper shown. Ink the outside edges of both pieces if desired and add faux stitching to the red pattern paper. Stack and adhere as shown. Adhere elf and presents, using foam squares where desired. 5. Using sharp scissors, fussy cut two candies from the candies laser cut border. Ink the edges and adhere to border along with the title sticker and embellishments shown. Be sure to use foam squares to adhere your title sticker. 6. To finish layout, adhere your border as shown. Mat a 2 1/2" x 6" journal box with a 2 3/4" x 6 1/4" mat and adhere to page along with two matted photos. Adhere the train sticker border shown to the bottom of the page and frame with two 1/8" x 12" strips as shown. Add some bling if desired. Border # 2: Holly & Jolly 1. Using your 12-Inch Trimmer and the Deckle Blade, cut one 1 1/2" x 12" strip from the red and green pattern paper shown and one 1 1/8" x 12" strip from red pattern paper. Ink edges if desired. Adhere the red pattern strip to the red & green strip as shown. Add faux stitching to the red strip as shown. 2. Using the Border Maker System and the Christmas Stocking Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border from green pattern paper. Using a repositionable tape runner, adhere to border strip as shown. 3. Using your 12-Inch Trimmer and the Stamping Blade, cut a 2 1/4" square from red cardstock. Use the Straight Blade to cut a 2" square from green pattern paper. Ink edges if desired and and add faux stitching. Adhere to border as shown. Use foam squares to adhere the elf and the Holly & Jolly Sticker. 4. To finish layout, adhere your border to the top of the page as shown. Adhere matted photos and matted Christmas Wish List from the Christmas Spirit Variety Mat Pack if desired. Use the Brown Dot Tip Pen to create a lined area for journaling (or use the area for a title). Use foam squares to adhere embellishments shown and add bling where desired. Note: the pine stickers used in the holly grouping were cut to fit the grouping. Hope you have a great week and have fun scrapbooking your stories! Diana
