25.01.2022 Fresh off the easel.... View from Old Bob’s Outhouse! Normally I don’t include man made images in my landscapes but a few old dunnies and sheds don’t count?!

22.01.2022 Hello friends Here are a few process pics of a recent oil painting. It is almost there but requires a few tweaks when this last layer is dry! I am enjoying the journey into oil landscapes...still lots to improve on!

22.01.2022 Hello folks Here is a small process piece. It is an old 1880’s cottage on Verniew Station at Mitchell, SW Qld...from a recent outback trip. Watercolour on 300 gsm arches paper.

20.01.2022 This piece has gone off to its forever home today. Grateful.

20.01.2022 This little watercolour is an image at the bottom of my neighbour's property, down near their creek. They have now hung it on their wall and it is sitting happily in its forever home. Grateful.

19.01.2022 This oil on canvas is a recently completed wedding gift for a close friend. So many moods in these mountains.

18.01.2022 Today is one to stay inside.... blasting wind so paintings have been varnished and I have prepped this canvas for a rather large commission, with my Bitty girl staying warm too! Watch this space!

12.01.2022 Hello everyone! My wonderful husband has completed the awesome studio upgrade! A new space to hang artwork and cupboards to put ‘stuff’ away! Come say hello! Today I plan to enjoy the airiness and cleaness!! Lets see how long it takes me to get messy!

11.01.2022 I really love this piece. It has now found its forever home. Sometimes serendipity plays into a work.

11.01.2022 My little studio girl has recovered from her surgery, dislocated hip and fractured pelvis, then a femoral head arthro, rehab and a tidy haircut! Lucy is the bomb!! Feisty as a cattle dog which is what she thinks she is by the way! I love this little girl, an 11 year old who still thinks she’s 3.

10.01.2022 Took delivery of her Top End landscape! Off to Darwin!

08.01.2022 Amazing light after this afternoon’s’ storms...it is a full moon on its way.... today felt heavy but hopefully tomorrow will be refreshed!

07.01.2022 This piece has been on the easel for a while. A view across the farm. I took reference from a gorgeous photograph taken by my late Mother in Law , Robin Simpson , who loved to capture all the hues, colours and moods of the Glasshouse Mountains. It is an oil on canvas , 61 x 76 cm. Enjoy!

07.01.2022 Sunset hues....I decided to take on the challenge of the vista of the Glasshouse Mountains a few months back. You could do this every day of your life and still have new sky’s and clouds and lights every day! Oil on canvas.

07.01.2022 I’m back! After about six weeks out of my studio. This is a piece in the Carnarvon Gorge following a recent hike I was on. It is such a beautiful place, bleached sunlight on towering sandstone cliffs, lush green crevices, creek crossings and ancient indigenous art. More to come!! Watercolour, ink and guache on arches paper 51 x 36 cm.

06.01.2022 Janelle, I hope these two pieces sit well in your bush home! You have been such a wonderful support to me over my creative years!

06.01.2022 One of my artist friends shared this. I thought it worth another share

04.01.2022 This was a commission painting with client brief. Animals with attitude... a little step sideways from my landscape work. Does this look like a Maleny topic?! So much fun and a challenge to work on such a large canvas. A birthday surprise!
