25.01.2022 FINAL FLOWER UPDATE Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th we will be picked out Yesterday saw it all - rain, hail and (just a little) shine - in this crazy spring weather we are getting.... We found a single flower ready, but it was one amongst thousands. Therefore we still recommend delaying visits to our pick your own until 14th November or after to avoid disappointment. For any enquiries please contact Andrea on 0477377311

25.01.2022 FLOWER UPDATE Things are moving along, although rather slowly at the moment - rain and a forecast of hail this afternoon mean it hasn't been very warm. At this stage we still expect to be picked out very quickly this weekend so cannot recommend enough that you delay your visits until 14/11 or after to avoid disappointment. There are so many flowers there, and will no doubt look amazing when they start however it is just not likely to be this weekend.... Please contact Andrea on 0477377311 for any queries. Photos from this morning.

24.01.2022 The first of our peonies are ready! These coral beauties are a single flower with a ring of vibrant coral petals surrounding bright yellow stamens, and striking green foliage. These flowers make a spectacular vase display and are surprisingly robust. Available by order for collection at Latrobe, $10/bunch. (We have not opened gate sales yet for drop in purchases)... Please direct message us or contact Andrea on 0477 377 311.

24.01.2022 FLOWER PROGRESS: ***PLEASE READ BELOW INFO IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO VISIT OUR PICK YOUR OWN DAYS*** Due to the last couple of days being cooler the flowers have slowed their ripening. This means there is currently a very high chance of our first PYO weekend (9th & 10th November) being picked out very quickly. ... At this stage we highly recommend that if you are planning on coming and want to have a good choice of flowers to pick from then wait until 14th November (first Thursday twilight PYO) or after to avoid disappointment. We will keep you posted throughout the week with more photos. These are from today in the paddock. If you have any questions please contact Andrea on 0477377311

22.01.2022 We are excited to (finally) be able to confirm our PYO dates for this season! Please see our event for further details. 20.01.2022 G A T E S A L E S O P E N N O W Our self serve gate stall is now open. ... We try to keep the stall stocked constantly and it will be open every day from now until the end of the season. $10/bunch, cash only

19.01.2022 Potted Peonies available for order! ***Please direct message to order*** We have 4 varieties of peonies available for purchase this November:... Marguerite Gerard - light pink Felix Crousse - bright pink, scented Shirley Temple - blush pink "Early pink" - dark pink peony (variety unknown, flowers in October) $25/pot Please note: We strongly believe that the best way to grow peonies is not in a pot. They are better suited to gardens with the space to develop their root systems. In saying that, you can successfully keep them going in a pot for a year or so, however our experience is that their likelihood of flowering is low. The best time for digging, moving and planting peonies is late autumn and winter. Although these potted peonies do make great Christmas presents!

13.01.2022 Thanks for the photo @big_badbill23

13.01.2022 This has happened to me plenty of times! Peonies can be quite thirsty, especially if you have a number in a vase and the room is warm. If they do run out of water and you catch them within 24 hours they can often be given a second "life" by trimming a good length off the stem end (5cm) and placing into fresh water. ... if you have any questions to add to our series please send us a message!

11.01.2022 Peony rainbow anyone? #peonies
