25.01.2022 What a brilliant night and gig! Thank you so much Deborah and Bruce for hosting this intimate festival and your efforts to reconnect performers and audiences. Terence Koo and I had the pleasure of opening the night for Mark Trevorrow (aka Bob Downe) and Bev Kennedy - and they were just amazing! Still smiling today!

25.01.2022 I know I’m not alone in finding it hard to settle at the moment. There is so much uncertainty it’s hard to be calm, or to even sleep at times. I hope sharing this helps others to have a calming soundtrack in your mind, even when things are far from calm. This is a meditation song I wrote for use by Adamstown Uniting for their online services. I’m really proud of how it’s turned out and the video is fantastic, thanks to my wonderful Dad, Rod. ... https://vimeo.com/403158735

25.01.2022 This Sunday, 15th November at 7:30pm, the Adamstown Uniting Church will be launching their new live streaming facilities with an online event! Presenting a reduced version of ‘The Messiah’ (that was mostly filmed during lockdown) and featuring fantastic soloists, Jennifer Barnes, Rosemary Saunders, Sam Elmi and Christopher Allan, plus readings by Rev. Rod Pattenden, this will be a great opportunity to experience an extraordinary piece of music, that we may otherwise not get t...o experience in the lead up to Christmas. At the same time you can support the church as it begins the journey to raise the money to restore the building, which has brought music, joy, faith and support to so many. The online concert ticket is only $5!!! And you then have the option of donating more to help with the building fund. For anyone who has been supported in their music/ performances/ art/ business/ life by Adamstown Arts and Adamstown Uniting Church, I encourage you to consider donating or purchasing a ticket or even a DVD (through this link you have the option of doing either or both)! There’s been hours and hours of work that has gone into this, so it would be lovely to have it enjoyed by many this Sunday night! https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing

24.01.2022 This Sunday will be epic, with 2 student concerts to showcase some of the fantastic sounds that have been made in lessons this year! Both concerts are fully-booked for in-person viewing, but thankfully we have the genius of live-stream to take these concerts out into the world, for those who can't be there! Message me if you would like to watch a great afternoon of music presented by my students! Live-stream tickets are $20.

22.01.2022 It has been my pleasure to write music for use at Adamstown Uniting Church, and for use in the wider national and international community. It's now an even bigger privilege to have this music being part of a great series put together by Rod Pattenden, Rod Barnes and Jenny Barnes. Great messages, Rod! Well done everyone. xx

17.01.2022 I will be playing and singing with this rockin’ all-female outfit on December 5th and 6th. It’s one of only 3 times in my life that I have played in an all-female band, and I believe that should be celebrated and supported!! Playing a great selection of songs by some of our times greatest female artists, and also some new tunes from songwriters in the group. So come one, come all. There’s tickets now available for both shows, and the 6th is a family-friendly matinee show.... Tickets are $30 or $25 for concession adults (cheaper for kiddos). Live music is coming back! See more

Please book so we know that numbers are correct! Please watch from home if you can't get a ticket!

11.01.2022 My 'Learn to Sing! Kids' online course starts tomorrow! This is a little video on how to use the e-school! 05.01.2022 Last Friday night, I had the pleasure of playing with Dave Thompson and Jacob Neale in the courtyard of the Herald Apartments in Newcastle. Residents were on their balconies while we played two sets, and it was a really special gig - people were so appreciative and excited about us being there! I’m impressed that the group that owns the apartments organized this for the residents! And.... I think we sounded great. A couple of sweet photos that captured moments in the night.

05.01.2022 Great article today in Newcastle Herald

04.01.2022 One more video of an encore nominated HSC student! This is Amy Smart performing 'Anthropology' in her Trial HSC. I have had the pleasure of teaching Amy since ...she was playing bass in the Bel Air Primary School Concert Band. It's been such a great journey to be a part of. Accompaniment by the wonderful Terence Koo - thanks for turning COVID performance restrictions into a great opportunity. See more

04.01.2022 I have created a separate facebook page for the songs I write for our use in churches and community groups. It’s called HPC Songs (Heather’s Progressive Christian Songs). I will be posting new songs, songs that link to lectionary readings, related blog posts and other news here. If this is something you are interested in, I would love it if you could head over and like/follow the page, or invite others that you think would be interested in these materials. xHeather https://www.facebook.com/hpcsongs

04.01.2022 My friend Rod, sending out a clear message to Mr Trump.

03.01.2022 Adamstown Uniting Church have been using my music within their excellent videos, created for use during COVID-19 isolation. Here is a link to the most recent video, which features my song Radical For Love, from my most recent album Full Of The Spirit. When I set out to write the song in 2018, I wanted to create something bluesy yet empowering, to depict the Jesus that fought for the marginalised. The song and album can be found here at my website: https://heatherprice....com.au/downl/full-of-the-spirit-album/ All songs are licensed with CCLI for use within Congregations around the Globe. https://vimeo.com/425446809/02024d8ea0

03.01.2022 New online courses thanks to a Creative Kids NSW Grant! Woohoo!

02.01.2022 I have created a separate page for my Music Tuition business. Feel free to head over and 'follow'. Here I'll be posting updates on special achievements by students, upcoming events and special news! Like a new studio space to teach from!

02.01.2022 1 ticket left if you would like to join me in person on the night. Otherwise, I‘ll catch you online

02.01.2022 It’s been 18 months now since I started playing with loops within my original songs (this is a video Adam took when I was initially trying it all out). It gave me a new energy to get out and play, and to have a space to sing, play double bass, Piano and guitar - all things that I love doing! Last year I enjoyed playing lots of gigs in this way, and it really helped to develop my music in this format. However due to Covid-19, this Friday at lounge sessions will mark the first... live gig featuring my original music for 2020. The tickets are just about sold out, but there will be a live stream on Friday night from the link below. I would love you to join me online. Post a comment while you’re watching and I will send a dedication out to you. Or better yet make a request! Let’s have some fun. https://www.facebook.com/Lounge-Sessions-2264948963779088/
