24.01.2022 Stricter rules regarding face coverings have come into play. Victorians will now be required to wear a fitted face mask, covering the nose and mouth. Scarves, bandannas and face shields on their own will no longer be permitted. As we slowly ease COVID lockdown restrictions, it appears increasingly likely that face masks are here to stay for an extended period of time. By now, we are probably in the habit of wearing our masks each time we leave the house - albeit with the occ...asional lapse where we find ourselves sitting in the car ready to go without one, or realise within a few seconds of hitting the pavement that we've forgotten to wear one. The challenge now is to wear them successfully - by mastering mask hygiene right through to selecting the right masks which are comfortable and avoids long term skin irritation. 07.01.2022 #MeetOurTeam Here's a cheeky little throwback to the pre-lockdown times when we filmed one of the #AskJenny episodes at the pharmacy. For our new followers who may not know Jenny all that well, here's a quick introduction. Jenny has owned and worked in pharmacy for over 35 years, having started work in her parent's pharmacy in Kooyong when she was 14 years old. She has four boys (all very different), all at secondary school and all of which help out at the pharmacy. Her husba...nd is a lawyer in private practice. She is a Glen Iris local, and loves the area to bits. Energetic, caring, optimistic and knowledgeable there are no lengths Jenny won't go to, to care for a patient. This photograph is from one of those hectic days where aside from her duties at the pharmacy, she powered through a video shoot for our ongoing social media series until late into the night - when, she stresses, her husband was next door to the pharmacy at Tom Pockett Cellars enjoying a drink with his mates. A surprise visit from her pet dogs (Hank and Rosie) was nevertheless a welcome stress-buster on the night! One of the dogs was clearly more interested in sleeping than visiting.
