18.01.2022 This post is well over due (we’ll blame Covid) but a big congratulations to the amazing Nicole Fishers who was presented with the award as the best A1 umpire in this current 2020 season as voted on by the coaches of the teams umpired. We are so lucky to have such a high quality umpire who for many years now has also been dedicated to teaching new umpires through the coloured shirts program.

05.01.2022 Thank you Becky!! At our AGM, Rebecca Jeffries formally stood down as Club President after four years in the role. We can attribute many achievements to Becky’s time as Club President, but most noteworthy are the court resurfacing and lighting projects. Becky has devoted endless hours liaising with council and various contractors to see these projects come to fruition something we would have struggled to achieve without her concerted effort. Having the abilityto train on ...all four courts at night and having them of equal quality is of enormous benefit. A change in her professional life and the prospect of a busier year ahead has been the catalyst for her decision and it’s with sadness that we see her vacate the role but it’s not all bad news, as she had the option, as past president, to remain on the committee (and she said yes!) so we can continue to benefit from her knowledge. Becky, on behalf of all of us, a very big thank you.

02.01.2022 At our AGM last week the beautiful Hayley (pictured here with mum Jenny) stood down from our committee. While we aren't farewelling her from the club (not a chance!) we do support Hayley in her need to prioritise her work and other commitments. This season two of the teams Hayley coached made it to the grand final and she particularly does great work supporting players learning new positions and skills. Thank you Hayley for your time on the committee. And how many teams can we lock you in for coaching next season
