24.01.2022 Rookies and U13s there is training Wednesday night at 5.30 with Steve Kitto! U17, training with Seniors is Wednesday night and U17 training is Thursday night.

24.01.2022 Hey SENIOR Penguins! If you haven't logged on to BV and registered already, can you drop a "Hey" in the comments so we know that you are returning to play... It's time to get teams organised.

21.01.2022 What an awesome morning at the Come and Try today. Sun was shining, kids were playing, parents were chatting, Stuss was cooking and Cale, Josh, Owen, Tyler, Ash, Aaron and Kaelin were helping to wrangle the kids and show them some skills. Kitto had his hands full with 14 kids running around, but being the old pro he is, made it look like a walk in park on a regular Tuesday.... Stay tuned for updates on training during the school holidays for the Junior teams. We could still use 2-3 more U17 players to round out this amazing group. If you know anyone interested, please hit me up!

20.01.2022 Juniors will be back Playing on July 11th. Until then we train come on down.

If you are interested in a position on the committee please send through a nomination form.

19.01.2022 **Attention Juniors** It is with great regret that after today's lockdown decision the HBC feel that it's in the best interest and safety of our players, parents, supporters, coaches and club members to cancel this Winter season. To our new players, thank you for seeking out our great club! We hope your passion for baseball will grow over the coming months and we will see you again for the Winter 2021 season.... To our returning players, you guys were looking the goods! This season you would have been a force out on the diamond against any team! Please stay in contact and tuned into the HBC facebook page for exciting updates for season 2021. Go Penguins Thanks Nat

16.01.2022 Happy birthday to the President, Life Member, Man, Myth, Legend. HBC.

14.01.2022 By now many of you know that my beautiful wife Flerina passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning the 24th June. I also recognise that many who knew he...r well and loved her dearly may not have received the news as this is my first post since her death. Because of the limitations on numbers attending her graveside service and knowing how many of you would have loved to have been there, we have organised that tomorrow on the day of her burial, the hearse will leave from the Ramsden house and move slowly up Waters Grove in Heathmont with the family walking together behind the car. Any that loved her are more than welcome to come and line Waters Grove in either family groups or by yourself observing the appropriate social distancing. THIS IS HOW IT’S ALL GOING TO WORK Day: TOMORROW Wednesday 1st July Time: Hearse leaving Ramsden Household at 1pm Come early but please don’t park on Waters Grove or areas marked on map Spread out along the length of Waters Grove keeping to social distancing guidelines (this is very important) Please ensure you leave enough time to park and walk to Waters Grove as it may take a little time to do this. At 1pm the hearse will leave the Ramsden house turn right and head up Waters Grove with the family following behind. Feel free to come as you are. There is no need to dress up, wear black or be silent as we pass by. If you would like to bring a single flower, we will collect it as we walk along the road. Your flower will be placed in Flerina’s grave at the service which will follow.

04.01.2022 This is a shout out to our State Local Member, Jackson Taylor MP. The Pandemic has been terrible for a great many people. HBC has been very fortunate to only be dealing with comparatively minor issues but it's still comforting to know that Jackson has our back.

03.01.2022 Following the MWBL release this afternoon, which announced that senior and junior seasons will not run in 2020, we have decided to halt senior trainings for the rest of the year. Junior trainings will continue to run for the time being to help their development, although we ask that you continue to rsvp on the corresponding events so that we can ensure that social distancing guidelines are adhered to. We look forward to playing with you again in the 2021 season.... http://www.mwbl.com.au//cancellation-of-the-junior-and-se/
