25.01.2022 Another great weekend at Heaven in the Hills! Lee's yoga group of 16 lovely women from Brisbane moved in for a 2 night stay on Friday. They were a fun group and there was lots of laughter around the dinner table. It was bottoms up in the conference room, where they worked off the calories from the candle light dinner the night before. It's so good to have groups back at Heaven!

18.01.2022 Look what I found looking at me through my kitchen window last week! It's so nice to see them around and feeling safe enough to keep chomping on a leaf whilst I stand there with my camera. I felt like he/she was saying "What's the big deal lady?"

18.01.2022 It's been a fast and furious festive season at Heaven in the Hills! We were privileged to host a troop of indigenous musicians called 'The Homelands Tour'. They were here for a week and showed amazing talent at the Woodford Folk Festival. They encompassed musicians from all over Australia and also a promising young 15 year old singer song writer, from a remote part of Canada. Otto moved all of his recording equipment and instruments down to the conference room which was trans...formed into a rehearsal studio. The house fairly buzzed once they ramped up, which made my catering job very pleasant indeed. It was also a very stressful time for some of the band, as they were from the Malacoota area and lost contact with their families in the fires. Hats off to them for keeping their cool and continuing to do 2 show a day. I doubt that their manager Katie got any sleep for the last few days, but just had to keep the show going. 16.01.2022 Thank you to the Maleny Rural Fire Brigade for doing a training exercise at Heaven last night. They burnt a huge stack I had accumulated from going crazy with my favourite toy....the dreaded chainsaw on a stick! It was nice to get to know them all a bit better around the BBQ after as well. I think they liked the apple and blueberry crumble too.

10.01.2022 The Heavenly Express...this was a labour of love and a much bigger job than it was first thought to be. Not many people have seen these original pics, so I thought it was time to show them. The Heavenly Express is available for you to rent and experience her ambience. She is situated in a lovely bush land setting just 10kms from Maleny at Heaven in the Hills.

07.01.2022 This Christmas Heaven seemed to attract a lot of music! As well as the Homeland Tour group, we hosted another musical family of violinists/conductors/ bass players, plus the singer song writer/ drummer / vocalist, Robin Zirwanda from the Melbourne group Azadoota (meaning Freedom). He soon got attached to the drum kit in the make shift studio and gave us a concert that roused the neighborhood.Never a dull moment here!

02.01.2022 The King Parrots are very friendly up here at Heaven in the Hills. This guy even does a spot of paper work when the office is open. Otto is going to teach him to play his bass guitar soon, as he seems to have a bit of a vibe goin' on here.
