22.01.2022 To those who give social media business star ratings! If you have a bad experience, Don’t simply leave a 1 rating with no comments! ... Before going viral with your disappointment, speak to the staff or people associated with the business you have had your dissatisfaction with! Make the effort to explain why or what the issues is so the business involved has the fairness of the opportunity to make things right! Most issues are due to miscommunication. And as covid has had such a major impact on small businesses already, it would only be common courtesy to make the effort to understand the extra stresses associated with reopening and in most cases like ours- at bare minimum stock and staff! Without communications wrongs can not be made right! Please be kind! Small businesses are struggling right now! And like us, most have fallen through the cracks! No, we were not eligible for the jobkeepers payment! No, we were not eligible for the $10,000 or $20,000 grants! No. Our business has not had any support from our government! Yes! We are struggling! Yes! We have rent! Electricity! Staff! Produce! And other financial obligations to still pay! Without your business, and support - WE WILL CLOSE. BE KIND. BE PATIENT. COMMUNICATE. HB

17.01.2022 2020 hasn’t been easy by any means, specially with being a business owner and being pregnant in these extreme times. But this past week we have blessed to have called Calvary home, and the gorgeous midwives our family. This amazing tribe of frontline workers made our journey as normal as possible under such difficulties circumstances. And we can not thank them enough for their amazing support, strength and professionalism throughout our stay. Wishing all the amazing midwives a huge Thank you and Happy International Midwives Day for yesterday! Xx

I didn’t realise COVID could spread through a cake- but not whilst getting waxed or your hair coloured or having your nails done... or by standing in the cattle yards waiting to enter Bunnings.

03.01.2022 In 2011 Heavenly Baked was established, and for the past 6yrs I have called 115 Cowabbie St Coolamon my Bakery home. Now, after much consideration, mentoring and support. I have SOLD. I would like to thank all my gorgeous staff members over the past 6yrs, you have all left your imprint on HB and our customers, my children and myself. And I can’t thank you all enough for your friendships and efforts. ... I’d also like to thank all my suppliers, the businesses I have supplied and my couriers for their services and friendships (and of course the giggles). With out all my gorgeous customers non of the past few years could have been possible. New and old. You have all become friends and family. Which I will forever be grateful for and miss terribly. But mostly I am thankful to the people who have kept me (somewhat) sane. My partner David, Isabelle and the rest of my children. For their love, understanding, strength and support. They have been my rock and constant light. They have all played an amazing roll in HB over the years and without them I’d be lost. As this week will be our last, be sure to pop in and say goodbye and purchase any goods you have grown to love. As I will not be baking any more pies - just selling our frozen goods. Saturday will be the last bread baking day. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and wish you all well. Love always Kristie.

01.01.2022 So today marks 4 weeks of isolation, walking 2km a day, no meat, dairy or flour. Eating fresh vegetables and home-cooked meals every day. The change has been fantastic! I feel great! A healthy diet, gluten-free, caffeine-free, sugar-free and a 1 hour home workout each day! Lost 8kg and gained muscle mass. I’ve even cut my screen time in half and am reading a book a week. I have no idea whose status this is, but I am really proud of them, so I decided to copy and paste!!!
