21.01.2022 Always make sure to get your clutch adjusted, its very important. This is what normally can happen when a clutch release bearing fails from the clutch adjustment being to tight, the clutch fingers ride on the release bearing and can cause premature failure! At heavy truckn mechanical we always provide customers with a clutch and brake adjustments/checks on every service We offer A - B - C services ... A service involves: an over all general check over of the vehicle, any fluids that need to be topped up, check over brakes and clutch adjustments and adjusting and a grease. B service involves: The same as A service but also including engine oil and filters (oil and fuel) changed. 05.01.2022 2021 has started of with a bang. With all our new upgrades still in progress. We have an engine rebuild room, waiting room for customers, air conditioning in our office, new floors, and more upgrades to come. I know we said we were going to be moving to a new location but we have decided to stay where we belong and makes these updates to benefit us and our customers, We do strongly apologise for an inconvenience.... we had planned on doing these upgrades over the Christmas break, however we were swooped and have had to push it back. we would like to say a massive thank you to all our loyal customers and friends we couldn’t do it without you guys. Most engines will smash valves when the timing belt snaps what will course engine failure Don’t risk thinking it dosent matter . ... Timing belts are under constant stress and heat changes and do not last for ever most manufacturers usually recommend an interval of around 100,000km or roughly five years on average for the replacement of the timing belt.
