22.01.2022 STAY POSITIVE! For me it's getting up early, working out on the verandah and watching the sun rise (and there really was a sunrise this morning after weeks of torrential rain!). It's how I fire up my brain and body, and a positive mental state, it's when I have my best business ideas and create my best content! 06.01.2022 Unless you literally never shower or shave, you have a routine! However, if the term 'skincare routine' sounds a bit much, think of it this way: Saying "I don't have a skincare routine" is a bit like saying "I don't watch my diet"... fact is you do: you're just choosing whether it's junk food every day, or whether you're planning to stay sharp into your 40's, 50's,60's and beyond. ... One way or the other, you're making a choice. We aren't sure a 15 step daily regimen is going to become part of male Aussie life anytime soon, but what about starting by changing just one thing: because the soap we choose to use can be a ONE STEP habit that makes our breaks how we feel today and what we look like 10 and 20 years from now. Men's skin isn't the same as women's - on average it's physically thicker, composed differently, with denser, larger hair follicles, and responds differently to what is put on it - both because of its composition and its conditioning (often from years of less than quality maintenance). It doesn't take much to get you looking toned and healthy - and you'll feel good; and when you do, you'll notice the difference, and so will she. If you pick up a cheap discount 'cleanser' bar or pump pack from a supermarket shelf what you're probably getting may not be 'soap' at all, but a concoction of cleaning ingredients that are scarily similar to what you'll find if you compare the labels with the product you wash your dishes and your car with. What's in REAL soap is nourishing oils that are hardened by a reaction that naturally forms the bar of soap as well as glycerin as a natural blended byproduct. Ironically the glycerin is so valuable it's extracted from cheap 'soaps' and then used as an ingredient in many other premium products including women's moisturising creams because of its excellent natural moisturising properties! We dont need to overthink this stuff. Looking after yourself doesn't need to be complicated - just find something you know is good, and stick to it.
