22.01.2022 Hello Hedland Water Polo people. Well the 2020 / 2021 season is almost upon us with our very popular Have a Try Night being held at South Hedland Aquatic Centre this coming Friday, from 6pm. We are hoping that the night is a big success and attracts a number of new players for our season proper, whether it be Flippa Ball, Juniors or Senior players. As our regular players know, it is important that we have as many you down to help out whether it be to set up the pool, hel...p organise players into groups, help with the BBQ or help with the players in the water. Many hands really do make light work and don’t forget friends and partners are more than welcome to help out. If you are available, please come down and help out from 5:30pm if possible. We will need approximately 20-people there to assist in making the event a real success. Please contact your team delegate and let them know if you can help as we will try and allocate people to jobs before the event. Otherwise feel free to contact me directly on 0407 233 352. This year is the 50th year Water Polo has been played in Port Hedland. A great achievement. Let’s make this season one of the best yet. 17.01.2022 What if I have never played Water Polo before? Then why not give it go as a Come n Try New Player. Its a non- refundable fee of $30 to give it go for 2 games. It is a great summer sport to keep cool & we encourage anyone of all ages and fitness levels to come down and have a go. There are always new players so you won’t be alone out on the field & with plenty of experienced players around you will know what you’re doing in no time....
