The reef is the place to be with coral trout and nannygai dominating most days - high quality table fish ! There is word that we will be soon swamped with visitors so in particular Christmas bookings have to been done now. 17.01.2022 Hi Everyone from Fishing Port Douglas, post new moon and spawning period the reef has gone through the roof. Red Emperor, Large Mouth Nannygai and Coral Trout have gone to a new level. Here's just a flash of pics as to what our wonderful charter fleet have been achieving. With good weather on the horizon we can't see too much from changing . With reef closures in force from the 14th to 18th October we can only offer game fishing or river fishing charters. 10.01.2022 Hi From Fishing Port Douglas, imagine the ultimate, ulitmate boys trip - camping on your own tropical island on Hope Island in the most stunning surrounds, awesome fishing, the slickest and smartest 35ft game boat in FNQ - Saltaire , at your daily disposal right on the beach where you've been camping. Well for the 8th year running we've done this trip for a dedicated group of old university mates who do this annually. It is seriously the 'ducks nuts' of trips.
