25.01.2022 Great news! Covid-19 testing is no longer required before admission. We are now able to undertake all elective and emergency surgery.

24.01.2022 UPDATE: We are waiting for updates from the Hospitals our surgeons work at as to when we can officially start booking operating lists again. We know how anxious people are to get their procedures organised. The minute we have the 'green light' we will be contacting those with procedures 'on hold' to organise your procedure times.

13.01.2022 2020 - Not much to say but... we are still offering a choice of face to face or Telehealth consultations. Don't let 2020 be an excuse to let things slide. If something is not right - see your doctor! We are still here.

13.01.2022 Don't Wait Until It's Too Late is Bowel Cancer Australia's February awareness campaign highlighting that bowel cancer often develops without warning signs and the importance of early detection in saving lives. A positive home-test result or bowel cancer symptoms must be followed up with timely colonoscopy, or the opportunity for early detection is lost.

11.01.2022 For the last 12 months I have taken up running. It has become a bit of an obsession. But I have good cause... Physical activity may prevent approximately 15% of the colon cancers! Now I have a great excuse when I go out for my long runs.

09.01.2022 Hi, Here is a list of some things we are doing in the new age of COVID19in our practice. 1. Offering as many patients as we can Telemed reviews 2. Screening everyone coming to the rooms before they arrive for risk factors. 3. Asking people not to arrive early for appointments - 5 minutes is fine.... 4. You can call us from your car and we will let you know when the doctor is ready to see you. 5. One support person per patient only please 6. If you are sick call us and let us know. 7. 1.5m between sets of chairs in our waiting rooms 8. Lots of hand sanitiser and hand washing 9. Face masks as appropriate for or staff. 10. Cleaning surfaces in between patients. 11. Caring for our patients, staff and their families as best we can in this stressful time. See more

02.01.2022 Tips of Phone consultations 1. Make sure your phone is not on silent when waiting for a call. 2. Have your phone with you at the booked appointment time. 3. Keep a pen and paper handy to make any notes. 4. Use the speaker function - that saves your hands and neck muscles and lets any support person listen in too.... 5. Know your email address - we will often email out instructions after a phone consultation. See more
