19.01.2022 Honouring the Feminine week 4 in May Full Moon Vision Quest Full Moon is an auspicious time for visioning our dream life into being. To create a Vision Board is a beautiful and profound way to touch base with the essence of who we are and open ourselves up to hear the voice of Spirit. We can use this tool as a mini Vision Quest to allow mighty inner shifts to unfold for dreaming the life our soul yearns to live into being.... You can prepare yourself for this Vision Quest through various forms of fasting, prayers, meditation, or holding vigil through the night etc. Some people feel that smudging with sage, burning incense, or essential oils such as Frankincense assist them to enter a meditative state. Ensure you set up in a place where you are uninterrupted, a place that becomes your sacred space for this experience. It can be on the floor where you lay out a special rug, on a table, in nature under a tree, wherever you feel drawn to. Ask Spirit for permission to use this space for your Vision Quest and if you feel invited give thanks. To create your Vision Board all you need is a sheet of strong blank paper, several magazines, scissors, and a glue stick. Once you have set up your sacred space tune into the sounds around you, the sounds within you, connect with your body, be aware of your breathing, ask for guidance and blessing for your Vision Quest. Start going through the pages of your magazines and cut out anything that captures your attention, this can be colours, shapes, words, images. Allow your intuition to guide you, feel into the pages/images and leave judgements aside; this is a time for your soul to speak, for listening with your heart. When you feel you have finished with the magazines you can start gluing your pictures on the blank sheet of paper. Your inner voice will tell you when your Vision Board is completed. Closure of your Vision Quest: Pack up everything you brought along. Look at your Vision Board from a little distance; you might even experiment with turning it up-side down or side-wise. Stay tuned into your feelings; hear the voice of your heart speak to you from the images, words, colours. Give thanks and express your gratitude in the language of your soul. After your Vision Quest: You can get your Vision Board laminated or framed. It is best to keep it in a place where you can see it frequently. Each time you tune into your Vision Board you will re-energise the life your soul yearns to experience and it will get stronger and more beautiful. Blessings, Heidi http://www.schooloflostborders.org//huffington-post-what-v http://www.freedomtek.org/en/moon/the_woman_and_the_moon.php

In the Catholic Church May has also been traditionally the month of Mother Mary where the Rosary is prayed daily. I have many beautiful memories of this and it has been very much imprinted in my being. 19.01.2022 Honouring the Feminine Mothers Day Special for sons and daughters: Does your mum live far away or has your mum passed on and you miss her terribly especially on Mothers day? Then this Special could be for YOU: Treat yourself to a nurturing 60 minute Ka Huna Massage at a special discount :-) (Please see for terms TC below)... On Mothers Day some of us miss our mums dearly. My mum lives on another continent and at times it seems so far away. We can always feel close in our hearts but its not quite the same as being able to drop in and have a chat just because we feel like it or to give a hand. Modern technology helps a lot but physical presence is precious. I took the picture of this rose last time we visited my family ... Looking at this photo brings back beautiful and sweet memories that warm my heart. Purchase a 60 minute Ka Huna Massage to nurture yourself during the month of May at 70.00 (normally 90.00) save $20.00 Book this Special before the 31 May 2016 Payment required at time of booking Enjoy your Ka Huna massage pampering before the 31 July 2016 At our beautiful New Farm Treatment room You can make your booking via email [email protected], phone or txt 0408 715 997; payments can be made via bank transfer. 11.01.2022 On heart, brain and connections: "What is good for the heart is also good for the brain". Rae informed her audience recently and continued to give examples on what is good for our heart, ending with suggestions on how to combine these elements. Thank you Rae for your inspiration! Connecting these healthy heart practices is where it all becomes a lot of fun. I also pondered on the wider meaning of our heart, the physical of course, but also our emotional heart and the heart ...Continue reading

10.01.2022 Aloha to you :-) Just over a week until Valentines Day! Our "Couples Ka Huna Massage Special" is a truly exquisite way for couples to celebrate and enrich themselves and their relationship. Just check out below for more details:

10.01.2022 Today is the first day of the rest of our lives May it be magnificent in every beautiful way For some of us it is an opportunity to make New Years resolutions, set goals, make plans, create vision boards, etc. We might ponder over the year gone by and wonder what the next year could bring..... Tamara Hookahi quoted in her wonderful December newsletter Abraham Kawaii:... "If you missed the bus today you should slow down so that you can arrive at the bus stop at the right time tomorrow. I love reading Tamara Hookahis newsletters and profound teachings! They have become guideposts and sanctuaries for me. I am aware that it is busy-ness that can create distractions and diversions and disconnection from the essence of Life itself. I will keep pondering on Abraham Kawais teachings and re-read Tamaras newsletters .... Thank you and Mahalo Tamara Hookahi with all my heart. www.napuaolohe.com

10.01.2022 Honouring the Feminine week 5 May Weavery workshop with Ren Bahloo with Auslan Interpreter. I am organising a half-day Weavery workshop at a location in Brisbane (TBC) (date/time TBC) with Ren Bahloo - Weavery Empress - with an Auslan Interpreter. (www.weavery.com.au, www.facebook.com/weaverywork ) Weaving with natural fibres is sacred work each of us creating our own unique master piece within the shelter of each others care as Ren, our midwife holds space for ...us to birth our world into a better place, to weave ourselves in healing and wellbeing, to weave our environment with passion and purpose. Last year I was blessed to have had the opportunity to participate in one of Rens amazing Weavery workshops. This beautiful and enriching experience has stayed with me every since. What did we need to know about weaving? Absolutely nothing! We were there with our hearts & hands, and our stories as Ren guided us to explore the threads of our past, present and future lives through the healing art of Weavery. Being gently and skilfully guided, nurtured, encouraged, and inspired, I connected deeply with my own stories; witnessing each others journey, experiencing reflection, fun and joy; at the end of the workshop I felt this exquisite sense of recognition and gratitude looking at the colourful Weavery in my hands and an expanded feeling of connection. I am organising a half-day Weavery workshop at a location in Brisbane (TBC) (date/time TBC) with Ren Bahloo with an Auslan Interpreter. If you or someone you know is interested please contact me: [email protected], via my website www.heidiskahuna.com.au, or send a txt to 0408 715 997. Please share widely. :-)

10.01.2022 Natural incense resin: Recently we have been gifted with a little bag of incense resin and charcoal at one of our favourite African restaurants and again yesterday we were blessed by a lovely lady with a little bag of precious Frankincense resin from the Middle East. How precious and beautiful are such unexpected blessings! It seems to be the day to give thanks and burn some Frankincense for sure :-) Keen to learn more about natural resins I came across this website. I was pa...rticularly touched by the guidance the author gives on respectfully approaching nature, for example a tree, and asking to harvest some of its precious resin. I also discovered a lot more about various natural incense from this site. https://apothecarysgarden.com///burn-frankincense-incense/

10.01.2022 If Touch is your primary Love Language or maybe the primary Love Language of someone close to you then you will find some beautiful inspirations in this article on how to enrich any of those close relationships. Whether it is your relationship with yourself (yes, you could pamper yourself, for example with a lovely bath, a massage or a soft bath towel, give yourself a foot bath, or role in some lush grass, feel the sand on a beach between your toes or the wind caressing yo...ur skin ... or maybe share this article with people close to you so they too can learn how best to nurture and comfort you). Maybe your parents love and need hugs, or if you have children, Touch could be their primary Love Language, or a dear friend. But especially if it is the primary Love Language of your dearest and closest. Here are some lovely suggestions: Thank you Kaya Slater for sharing this valuable article :-)

05.01.2022 Have you heard of WATSU - a Healing Dance and Water Dance modality? Yesterday I was blessed with this extraordinary delicious, nurturing and relaxing experience! Thank you Melissa Josephine Hare for this divinely soothing and healing gift! If you would like to get in touch with Melissa feel free to call or email Melissa (040 876 253, [email protected]). Here is a bit more about WATSU: Mel explains the many benefits of WATSU and Aquatic Bodywork:... * Instills a deep sense of relaxation * Induces a quiet meditative stillness of blissful letting go * Encourages flexibility * Reduces stress & anxiety levels * Facilitates fuller & deeper breathing * Improves sleep & digestion * Creates a general sense of well being "Watsu is very much like massage, but practiced in 33-35 degrees warm water. The body is gently twisted, stretched and wafted through water in graceful fluid movements. Tense areas release, limbs become fluid and joints loosen. During a session you experience yoga like stretches that help relieve back, neck and hip distress. You will be supported to float weightlessly (sometimes with floats wrapped above or below the knees to aid buoyancy). Your eyes and nose remain out of the water. Aquatic Bodywork incorporates a combination of modalities called Healing Dance and Water Dance. The receiver wears a nose clip if he/she would like to experience the freedom of being worked on above & below the waters surface. Watsu for pregnancy can help relax the lower back, remove tension and soothe away pain and stiffness in muscles and joints around the body from the extra daily weight being carried. It can also be a beautiful bonding experience for mum and bub. In Switzerland, Watsu is currently being practiced and researched for the purpose of pre-natal care."
