15.01.2022 As you may have noticed, Youchianti has spent a week in silence. We did this in order not to interfere with the utmost important news regarding the coronavirus.... Starting next week, we will begin publishing again, bringing you stories from our surrounding area and highlighting local businesses to which all of our moral support goes. It is precisely for them that we will continue to introduce you to the magical land of Chianti. Today more than ever, we need to act all together. Please help us in sharing images and videos that speak to what Chianti is. We thank you for your support! . . . #chianti #youchianti #coronavirus #tuscany #tuscanygram #toscana #toscanagram #drone #chiantilovers #chiantishire #tuscanylovers #tuscanyitaly #visittuscany #instatuscany #ig_tuscany #igerstuscany #italy #italia #italytravel #italy_vacations #italytrip #italygram #italyiloveyou #italy_photolovers #vacation #trip #tour #tourism #discover #explore

12.01.2022 Shared post. Getting worse for our industry. More sad news. As of today...( STA travel is insolvent & Fight centre owned Infinity holidays are gone. Qantas h...ave announced they are down 2 billion dollars and trying desperately to preserve cash to stay afloat. Webjet..crawling under the radar to AFTA asking for help from actual real travel agents peak body ( Webjet have NEVER been accredited, which is scary. Be careful who you use online if you choose to do it that way...none of them are safe and therefore your money isn't either ). Thai Airways is in administration, South African airways is in administration. Europe's number one carrier..flybe are gone. Luxury CMV cruises are in administration. Thomas Cook tours are gone, Bentours are gone, Tempo holidays are gone and the list goes on...... This isn't finished. So many airlines are in financial difficulty, so many tour companies are too. Travel agencies are closing their doors and online websites are going bust. I feel for people who were planning on starting their travel bucket list.. If we lose airlines, the cost of flying will rise significantly due to fewer competitors if this continues. Travel will return to the elite only. Support Australian Travel agents. Travel Agents support our industry partners ( airlines, tour companies, hotels and cruise lines ). Its a domino effect. Travel agents are embedded and are the fabric of the community. Some of us have unbelievable financial protection policies in place which protects your money. Booking online or direct does not give you any of that. #sickofcovid See more

06.01.2022 A little insight on how the Travel Agents out there are coping behind the scenes..... **Credit to Mark Brady, owner of Ballina, Byron & Tweed Coast Cruise and Travel ** I have a neighbour who has a paving business ask me how travel is going last week, as he is travelling to London in September and just wanted to know if he is going or not....Continue reading
