17.01.2022 Western Pygmy Perch (Nannoperca vittata) Maximum size: 60mm Jurien bay is about the northern most extent of their native habitat. These fish play an integral role on our native waterways, being a small carnivorous fish they can eat vast amounts of mosquitos and their larvae, along with the larvae of many other insects.... They make a valuable addition to a backyard pond and can survive water temperatures from 2C to 32C. We have managed to get a limited quantity in stock so come see us this weekend

Some spent many months closed down with no income. Some ploughed on with reduced incomes, putting pressure on families to make do. Some didn't make it at all. Small business really is at the heart of our communities. So we were pleased to see the Small Business Matters Think Small First initiative being supported across the State. So for those early Christmas shoppers, instead of getting online and buying from big chains or overseas factories, why not visit your local small business and have a look at what they have to offer for your gift-buying. A local hand-crafted item, piece of art, or voucher for somewhere local will not only highlight our wonderful towns, but will support local families and ensure the $$ stays where it belongs...in our communities.
