09.01.2022 I am happy to say it is HEKA Arcane Apotheca’s Third Birthday. I am not going to lie, as a one woman business, the last three years have been some of the most, challenging and rewarding for me. It has been a hard slog at times, feeling like the cards, were stacked against me. Long nights wondering if I had done the right thing, if Perth really wanted an Authentic Witchcraft store, or if WA is satisfied with its many generic new age stores. I pride myself for stocking items, ...that you will not find anywhere else. Magickal items handmade by me, not mass produced in a sweat shop or factory. This means, a large amount of my time, energy, laughter, intention and most of all, magick goes into everything that I make. I hope you enjoy using my products, just as much as I enjoy making them. Every time a new order arrives, I do a little happy dance, as I am very grateful for the chance to share my magick, spread some witchy joy and continue my dream of providing a quality, authentic witchcraft shop in Western Australia. I thank you for being patient with me over the last few months as I have, tried to juggle opening a physical store in the Fremantle Markets, along with filling an unprecedented amount of online orders due to the Covid-19 lock-downs. To be honest, I have dropped a few balls, be it due to time or illness. In hindsight, I have bitten off a little more than this old witch can chew. But I believe in life, you have to sometimes do the scary things, aim big, and reach for the stars. If you stumble on the way that is ok, just pick yourself up and keep moving forward. As a one woman micro business, I have been working crazy long hours. When not working in the store, I have been burning the midnight oil, making many items as they are ordered, replying to queries and make sure everyone receives their magical items. I thank you all for your patience and look forward to that wonderful day when I am able to afford an assistant.
