22.01.2022 New at this! - will need to remember to rotate photo before I upload - just turn your head to the right a little to get the right view

20.01.2022 Welcome to my wall - this is intended to be used in conjunction with our website - www.helendafter.com.au but will also allow me to keep you up to date with `What's New' as well as never before published projects and some of my students works. Feel free to upload some of your own embroidered projects here or ask any questions you nay have - as always happy to help. In the near future we hope to have video stitch tutorials as well

20.01.2022 Had our first casual class on Saturday and students and teacher all had a great day. Class was by email request - students asked for this class and happy to oblige. If you would like to participate in a class feel free to email me and we will do our best. A students comments - `Just wanted to thank you for a lovely day yesterday - I did enjoy meeting you and all the "girls" - I learnt so much - I have just read all the info you gave us as we left & it refreshed all the things you talked about during the day - very helpful as we get older!! Do keep me on your email list as you do different classes - I'm hooked again on ribbon embroidery again after many years away from it. Congratulations on a great day with delicious food and lovely company.'

18.01.2022 Time spent in the garden over the weekend was very rewarding - roses are having their second flush of flowers with many more to come

17.01.2022 Eldest son Matthew was married on Saturday 15th in the the Hunter Valley, a gorgeous country wedding - stress free day and one of the loveliest days I have experienced!!!!

11.01.2022 Off to Perth tomorrow afternoon to exhibit at the Quilt and Craft show and see lots of old faces, to my memory anyway and hopefully meet lots of new ones. Hate the flight but like the destination.

08.01.2022 This is the latest scissor finder created as a kit and now available on the website under useful objects. The skirt of the fairy is filled with emery powder to keep your pins and needles nice and sharp.

08.01.2022 In the meantime this one is the latest and even though it was not meant for release until our first exhibition in Perth 2012 students that have seen it requested a kit immediately!!!

07.01.2022 The Pokolbin Hall was decorated in bunting made by the bride from fabrics donated by many of my students and the tables featured hand made decorations dangling from twigs surrounded by random buttons from a students collection. The hall was decorated by family and friends the day before the service. A true group effort

06.01.2022 I have just completed the workshop arrangements for the upcoming Quilt and Craft show in Perth. This year after numerous requests we are doing a class on hand formed flowers - see picture as well as a delightful little celtic style scissor finder filled with emery powder to keep your needles and pins nice and sharp.

04.01.2022 Sam and Mason caught napping on the couch - the little one sleeping on top of his `big brother'
