25.01.2022 LET THEM EAT CAKE: Year 12 Food Technology students have re-created an English society High Tea, complete with dainty sandwiches, pastries, slices, cupcakes and more as part of their food product assessment showcase today. Ably led by head chefs, Emily Adcock, Anne Williams, Hiro Goto and Stanley Musarurwa, working in groups of four, they had to showcase their skills in small scale production, stick to a $10 budget, and create something complex and saleable, that would pair perfectly with a good old-fashioned cup of tea. Our verdict, YUM! #helenacollege #bringingoutthebest #together
24.01.2022 What a beautiful day for the Year 2s and 3s to visit Kings Park. Year 2s investigated The Life of Plants and the Year 3s explored The Living Wetlands. The excursion ended, of course, with a visit to the Naturescape playground.
24.01.2022 The Peer Support Leaders did a wonderful job at the Year 6 2021 Orientation Day. 23.01.2022 As our baskets - and our staff - are brimming with appreciation, we look forward to seeing many Junior School parents at morning drop off today. Normally at this time of the year, the Darlington Campus would host a morning tea to enable us to express thanks to all parents for supporting the College in various ways throughout the year. As with so many other occasions this year, we are doing so in a different format with these small tokens of a large amount of appreciation!
