21.01.2022 #funfriday Cause why not right. As a photographer I have a real love of photos "obviously" and art and my family and friends know this. The other day a friend sent me this and they suggested I shared it here and my unique brain then went one step further. I would love for you to feel that you could share some photos with me aswell and we could share them here on Fun Friday. So here is one from Trevor (an amature photographer) he snapped this on his new phone he was pretty chuffed with how it worked out. I love it too. How great to capture a Kookaburra and a Currawong in your front yard and for them to be having a good old yarn like this. Good work Trevor. 21.01.2022 This is one of my earlier images taken at the Sydney aquarium in 2014. I had so much fun challenging myself with learning how to take photos through the glass and also without reflections. The seahorse exhibit I must admit was one of my absoulte favourite places to hang out. It was so magical watching them swim and also watching my daughters face light up as she experienced it for the first time aswell. Imagine doing some power poses or yoga shots with the breaking waves in the background. Mooloobah would be a great location for your next headshot photo shoot.

She had a vision to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer herself at the young age of 32. It has been amazing to be part of her journey and watching her and... her organisation go from strength to strength. This year due to Covid 19 Rachelle and her team have had to think outside of the box to continue with their vision. This is how So Brave's Digital Marketplace came about. Take this photo for instance. Thanks Mel Mellor for taking this shot it is a great example. An old train timetable board which was a great spot to point or stand beside so I could sign post where I can put promos in canva. Love it. 12.01.2022 What time of day is best for photos? The early morning or the few hours before sunset are the best times to take photos outdoors. This is to do with the softer light that is available and also less shadows. This photo of Kristie is a perfect example of the softer light. ... We took this photo in the later afternoon and the sun is setting on her side which offers the highlights on her hair and also rest of the lighting is quite soft and inviting. See more

It was also a great way to connect deeper with the ladies that I had just be co creating with. We were able to reflect on what we felt had worked and even started brainstorming more images we could create together. There is something about sitting and watching a sunset which really allows the creative juices and magic to really happen. #outdoorphotography

It was a great day with some truly amazing women and a fantastic location. For me the location was like being a kid in a candy storm. Helped me to dream what the future for Helen Maree Photography might look like one day.
