21.01.2022 I started using these gesso board blocks rather than large canvases as a way of finishing a painting reasonably quickly while I was pregnant (with the super swollen ankles if I stood for too long). Now I’m a total convert!

15.01.2022 Gum blossoms I painted whilst living in Jakarta. With a metropolis of 30,000,000 people it was a crazy experience living on the 37th floor of inner city high rise in Jakarta - while we lived there I found myself painting many Australian native flowers - I guess a way of connecting with home where are you currently living? What’s it like?

02.01.2022 My teacher told me I was a better writer than artist. I’m so glad I didn’t make her opinion my reality. In 2014, I stepped full time into painting pieces people would treasure in their homes. Now? My husband works full time with me, and we *still* get the warm and fuzzies every time a customer order notification chimes through.... I’m so grateful to be able to do what I do, and I’m even more grateful for your support. Here’s to an exciting new venture ahead. See more
02.01.2022 Why did I paint this piece? Because tulips. I just planted tulip bulbs in our garden, and I am eager for the day they bloom in Spring (around September in Australia). I’ll keep you posted!
