But as its name suggests, exfoliating is abrasive and if done roughly, can cause micro-tears in the skin. Firstly start by washing with your regular c...leanser, then taking a small amount of your exfoliator, apply it onto your face in circular motions, avoiding the eye area. Gently massage the product onto the skin for as long as your specific product recommends, usually from 30 seconds to a full minute.
