Thanks to Ann, Yvonne, Wendy, Margaret, Tineke, Kerry, Cecilie, Robyn, Lynda and Heidi....you girls are a truly beautiful "bunch" especially on Mothers Day. I am blessed. Thanks for your spirit of adventure with your sewing threads, needles and machines. You all excelled!!

18.01.2022 Just finished two WOW days of teaching at LOVE PATCHWORK in HarringtonNSW . A pretty little town with a pretty lady, Jen Chapman who is Love Patchwork. 16.01.2022 Have just finished an exciting three day workshop with Alison Holt, one of the most gentle and gracious teachers I have met. "Seascapes" was the chosen workshop and what a wonderful subject to stitch.....makes me want to sit and stitch forever. Thank you Alison for a splendid time. Hope you all like my effort....it was a beautifully soothing project to render in thread on silk.
14.01.2022 Sharing another fun project I did some time ago. Over the past 18 years I have flown across the centre of our great country many many times, both day and night time. "Twelve thousand metres" is my textile/fibre reminder of all those flights. I never cease to be in awe of the view from seat A51!

12.01.2022 The past week has been a fantastic time with so many (47) to be precise wonderful enthusiastic participants at the MistyMountainGetaway in Dorrigo NSW. We created another grove of Grass Trees, bunches of Bird of Paradise and a flock of 19 Emus emerged from sewing machines. Just so much fun seeing these creations.....to all those students who joined me over the past days, thank you, what a beautiful group of ladies you are... Hope to see you all again in the wonderful world of thread!

09.01.2022 After two wonderful days, the Midwest Autumn Craft Roundup came to close for another year. Congratulations to Kym and her amazing helpers for a great weekend. The ladies in my class did a fantastic effort with two full on days of concerted stitching and produced great outcomes. Well done, Dawn, Tina, Loris, Jan and Bev! So nice to spend two days with you all and see your skills develop so much in that time. We must all see together again soon !! Thank you for your enthusiasm and desire to achieve. Well done. Sorry Bev, we couldn't get your pic too...next time.
06.01.2022 Hello everyone, wow this weather has been roasting hot and not much fun, but fingers crossed the next few days are looking like a cool change. So nice to sew in the cool!!! Loads of beautiful new fabrics are arriving weekly....and to make way for them, I have heavily reduced many fabrics in the shop....give me a call to set up a time to come and have a look at the new stuff and see all the sale fabrics. Also have new stocks of Wonderfil's Eleganza thread, a stunning cotton both in plain and variegated shades...equivalent to an 8 ply Perle...handstitching is a breeze with these...like a knife through butter. Comes on 70 yd reels so you have plenty for a project and dont have to worry about a different dye lot too! Dont forget the Midwest Autumn Craft Roundup in April .... have to get the camera and post some pics of Eleganza...
