18.01.2022 Hello All, It’s that time of year again we plan and look to the season ahead. Our AGM meeting will be held next Thursday the 15th August at Helensburgh Hotel from 7pm. All are welcome to come, and volunteers for the various roles for the season will be filled. For anyone who can’t make it but is interested in contributing to the season ahead please get in touch.

From the onset it was clear that Import Ewan Cox and Mitch McCrae are going to be a formidable partnership this season. Blasting there way both to half centuries, before McCrae was dismissed for 68 bringing their stance to an end at 142. It didn’t stop there. With cameos from the Marciente brothers, and Falkiner, Co...x continued his sheer dominance on his debut for the Tigers, Surpassing our highest 1st Grade Knock and being unbeaten on 162 also leaving Port Kembla 324 for victory. With Runs on the board The Tigers bowling arsenal went about business as they do so very often, strangling away. Wickets were tough to come by, before the spinners in Neil Ryan and Ewan Cox applied the pressure and started to capitalise. Before a wind the clock back stint of pace from Ben Marciente finished Port off and handing the Tigers a big win to start 2019/20! And it started in style. The tigers bowling first away to Port and started with some early wickets led by stalwart Brett Morris and some impressive bowling from the likes of Youngster Angus Leadbitter and McMillan. With wickets hard to come across, the tigers restricted port to the modest tally of 6/182. The tigers responding with the loss of early wickets putting themselves on the back foot. Skipper Gav McGuirk and Dean McMillan steadied the ship with a crucial partnership. With Gav posting his first half century of the season. With again some wickets falling the tigers finally got home with a few overs to spare. Making it a day out for the tigers and setting up what shapes to be a great year for the tigers!
