18.01.2022 Just finished sewing the binding on this quilt. My own design that Ive called On Point. It measures 68 x 84 and is made up of 8 blocks. 16 patchs and HSTs. 960 pieces plus the border. This quilt is for my daughters best friend and her boyfriend as they have just moved into their first home. I used my Westalee HST Ruler (love it) for the cutting. Quilted with Westalee Rulers Spin-e-fex 15, 11.5, Sound Waves 1.5 and a long straight Ruler. It was a challenge to quilt on my DSM and had to move to the Dining room table to give me enough room to manoeuvre. All made from my stash!

18.01.2022 Do you have trouble figuring out how to transport your rulers safely? Well look no further! I designed this Ruler bag and cutter bag to safely transport my rulers and my rotary cutters. I have also designed one for my Westalee Rulers which will be posted soon. #sewing #rulers #embroidery #rotarycutter

Continuous Heart 6 border, S8 Sound Waves and Spin-e-Fex Feathers template for the appliquéd flowers. #quiltsofinstagram #westaleerulers #westaleerulerfoot #westalee #sewing #quilting #flowers #feather #sakurabymodal

Just a few photos to show including one mishap of quilting the instructions to the back of the block. Thanks to Leesa for organising the venue.

02.01.2022 I pieced this Mexican Stars Wall Hanging just over two years ago. It was about time I quilted it! I have used Circles on Quilts, 4" Arc, Spin-e-fex #1 1.5", 2.5", 3.5" and 5.5", 12" Arc and the continuous loop 2 x 2" for the border. I loved the challenge of deciding what to quilt and where. I used contrasting thread on the back to give a Sashiko effect.
