19.01.2022 Great news everyone, as of Monday we will be almost back to normal, parents will be allowed back with social distancing. Between now and then we need to plumb a new bathroom in for you, and are trying to speak to our plumbers to confirm. We would ask that you try and keep the amount of people you bring to a minimum. There will still be some work needed in the new premises to get it perfect sp please bare with us.

19.01.2022 Christmas closures, We will be closed from the 20th December to 4th Jan Inclusive. ( 2 weeks only). Make up classes can be completed throughout Dec or January. ...There will be a limited amount of fitness kickboxing classes available and will post to the kickboxing Site. 19.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Can I please ask that you ensure your child is accompanied across the car park and younger ones have their hand held. We have had some complaints that children are running around / on the car park and other business owners are worried there will be an accident. Also if anyone saw someone running into a white Audi Tuesday or Wednesday can you let us know please. Thank you

18.01.2022 Hey everyone, please be aware we are still seeing shortages in our boxing gloves and uniforms. Gloves are due in mid August, (hopefully) both our uniform suppli...ers were closed yesterday in Victoria. Please be patient with us, if you are awaiting free items and you want to purchase your own (via ebay or local retailer) I will credit our cost to your account, just let me know. Our thoughts go out to those thousands of workers now out of work again.

17.01.2022 What an absolutely mammoth day, moving out of Hombu to our new home. A heartfelt thank you to all those that turned up to help. I would never have thought we would get so much done. We will be ready for all students Tuesday and for our parents in a couple of weeks. I must say it looks asnd feels brilliant

14.01.2022 We have had numerous messages from people asking why we are opening on the 12th with limited classes and times which don't suit or not enough options. It's imperative that for us to add more classes for you we need you to sign back up. if you originally cancelled. All existing members and paused members will be reactivated. Unfortunately we don't have enough paused members to consider opening for 5 days a week. I promise you there will be a class space for you but we need to plan. 01.01.2022 Benny Urquidez - Old School Fighter Is known as one of the Greatest American Kickboxerers. In late 1974, in the grand finale of an early mixed martial arts-styl...e tough man contest in Honolulu, Hawaii, a 5-foot 6-inch 145-pound Urquidez decisioned a 6-foot 1-inch 230-pound Dana Goodson after scoring a takedown and pin against Goodson in the third and final round. In 1977, Urquidez traveled to Japan and fought under the WKA's compromise USJapan rules which included leg kicks and knees to the body.[11] He defeated Katsuyuki Suzuki by KO in the 6th round (August 1977), the fight between Urquidez and Suzuki, shocked Japan, where Japanese kickboxing had been very popular. On November 14, 1977, Urquidez's victory over Kunimitsu Okao convinced the Japanese fight fans. In 1984, he fought Ivan Sprang in Amsterdam under modified Muay Thai rules (no elbows), winning by 6th-round TKO. Urquidez has had training in nine styles: Judo, Kajukenbo, Shotokan, Taekwondo, Lima Lama, White Crane Kung Fu, Jujutsu, Aikido and American Kenpo. He is the founder of Ukidokan Karate. Urquidez retired from professional competition, remaining undefeated for 27 years, the longest reigning World Champion ever. Black Belt magazine voted Urquidez "Competitor of the Year" in 1978.
