Introducing to you: Lorraine Fischer Lorraine is the current Secretary and a tireless supporter of the Association. She is a dab hand with a sewing machine, and her speciality is gorgeous tea towels, towels and washers. Her items featuring Australian native flora and fauna are especially popular with tourists and locals alike. There are so many gorgeous designs in many themes, you will find something for everyone - adult or child, male or female. Check out her display in the Gooburrum Room to find the perfect gift or set for your home. There are hundreds of beautiful pieces of art and craft in the Pink House, including quilts, bags, clothing, knitted items, macrame, cards, soaps, candles, paintings, jewellery, decor, toys, gifts, souvenirs... just too many to list! Everything is hand crafted by members. The Pink House is open daily 10am-4pm. She m...anages all the layout and displays, which look fabulous due to her oversight and skills with handtools and paintbrush. Her partner, Geoff, deserves a medal too for the work he has put in at the Pink House. He is pictured with the window seat he built in the Gooburrum Room during shut down - thanks a million Geoff! Jodi heads the fundraising committee and is brimming with innovative ideas for events and improvements. She gives so generously of her time and skills, yet still finds time to create an astounding selection of handcrafted items to restock her displays - and they sell like hot cakes! She is probably best known for her stunning macrame pieces and regularly teaches macrame workshops. Enquire at the Pink House is you are interested in learning. You will find beautiful macrame pot holders, wall hangings, bags, etc, as well as DIY kits to make your own macrame piece at home. She also creates a variety of beach-themed items and souvenirs.
