22.01.2022 Here a sample of what you may see at Heli Heatwave 2020. Nathan Lee has one of the most impressive collections of Kalt and Kyosho helis in the country and he is bring a few of them to Heli Heatwave 2020. A few of these examples attended the inaugural Heli Heatwave way back in 2000. Definitely don't see these at the field everyday.

21.01.2022 Well its nearly Heatwave time and definitely caught us off guard. Really looking forward to kicking back and catching up with mates and having a fly. Gates will open Wednesday morning for those keen to fly, normal club rules will apply for the day. Catering will kick off from Thutsday with Breakfast and Lunch, drinks also available from the canteen. Those camping can get dinner at The Family Hotel, Cootamundra which is a 10 minute drive, there are other options are available around town. Saturday night dinners need to be confirmed so if you have registered and not paid, please finalise your payments asap.

12.01.2022 Massive Thank you to those in the Heli community who attended and celebrated the 20th Heli Heatwave . A fantastic weekend for flying and catching up with great mates. To celebrate our 20th event, we bought back a couple of funfly events for participants to see what we got up to at the first events we held way back when nitro engines and flybars were supreme. In honour of John Ogilvy who was one of the first winners of these events back in the early 2000's who sadly passed awa...y last year, Paul Sanders kindly donated trophies in John's memory. Winners of the events were: Hop Scotch - 1st Rhys Wyatt 2nd Kevin Einstein 3rd Brendan Tucker Bottle Knock 1st Brendan Tucker 2nd Rhys Wyatt 3rd Dennis Fragias Before we go into hiatus, we must acknowledge the efforts of individuals who assisted in some small way to make this event a success once again.
