20.01.2022 The Helitak FT4500 UH60 Black Hawk fire tank gets crated up ready for its new Australian owner - this will be the 1st Australian owned and operated, Australian registered and outfitted with the Helitak Australian designed and manufactured Black Hawk fire tank ready for the coming fire season. Great effort by all the team at Helitak’s Noosa factory.

12.01.2022 Helitak has been selected as a finalist in the Australian Technology Awards 2020 for the innovative Helitak Aerial Firefighting Suppression Systems design for Helicopters in the Disaster & Emergency category. This 1400 litre capacity tank will complement the very versatile BK 117 airframe and can be installed and/or removed in under 20 minutes making this unit a perfect initial attack workhorse.
