During the height of COVID-19 and isolation Helium oversaw the self-filming shoots with athletes from Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and London. Remotely directed by Edward Copestick, these athletes revealed their inspiring stories and how they came to ...be Olympians. The Olympics Unleashed program brings students face to face with Olympians, inspiring students and using their Olympic journey to help improve students’ ability to set goals, overcome challenges and build self-esteem. The athletes have already visited more than 120,000 students across NSW, SA, ACT and Queensland schools. Ellia Green Rugby Sevens player, was born in Fiji and moved to Australia’s Central Coast at the age of five. Ellia has been there for all the Aussie 7s big moments, including winning the Gold Medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Ellie Cole - Ellie began swimming eight weeks after her right leg was amputated due to cancer, as part of her rehabilitation as a three-year-old. The Paralympic Games next year will be Ellie’s fourth; and she will be doing everything in her power to defend her title in the 100m backstroke. Poppy Starr Olsen At 19 years of age, Poppy is the Australian National Champion and ranked fourth for Women’s Park in the World Skate Federation.
