24.01.2022 we had an amazing turnout tonight, thanks to all of you who made the effort to head out for a meal and chose the Hellenic Centre as the location. As always we had a great time and better still the food was awesome. I want to give a shout out to our volunteers who make the time to prepare the salads and get everything ready as always on cue and the food was awesome. 22.01.2022 Saturday Night dinners at the Hellenic Centre, this Saturday Night the 14th of November, drinks from 5pm meal service from 6pm. Our delicious menu choices, include Salt and Pepper Calamari, tender and juicy T-Bones and Rump steaks, our popular Greek Meat platter and our fresh local caught Spencer Gulf Whiting, all our meals are prepared and cooked fresh on the day. Our selection of home made salads always a hit and made fresh on the day, by our friendly committe...d group of volunteers. Not to forget our free assortment of Greek sweets and free coffee and teas available. 16.01.2022 Hi i would like to announce our last Saturday Night tea for 2019 will be held Date : Saturday the 14th of December. Time : 6.00 pm till late... Food Lamb and Pork slow roasted over the charcoal rotisserie Gourmet Freshly prepared Salads Greek Sweets Father Christmas will also be attending so there will be a small gift for the kids from Santa. Bookings are essential as seats are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

16.01.2022 It is with great disappointment that I have to announce that as a result of Covid19 and Premier Marshalls announcement today citing a new round of COVID19 restrictions the Hellenic Centre will temporarily close. Please stay tuned as to the updates announced by our state government officials, and in turn in due course if restrictions are lifted we will advise accordingly. Lets stay safe, adhere to the directions that we have been advised of and hope that this outbreak is controlled quickly and effectively. Any updates and changes will be announced in due course. 14.01.2022 Dear community as a result of the current COVID-19 Corona Virus pandemic, the Hellenic Centre will close its doors until further notice. We apologise to our dearly loved and respected customers however in the interest of yours and our volunteers health and safety we have made the conscious decision to officially close the doors to prevent anyone transmitting or contracting this virus as a result of attending the Hellenic Centre. Please everyone take care look after yourself and your loved ones and try to minimise your social contact which will help us minimise the effects of this virus in our community

With all of your favorite salads at the salad bar and the delicious Greek sweets. At $22 per plate this is the most value packed carvery meal available in Port Pirie, with delicious Lamb and succulent Pork you cant go past a night out at the Hellenic Centre.

08.01.2022 A quick message to say hi to our community and an opportunity to check in on everyone, how people are coping with the isolation rules and regulations. This is a difficult time in our lives personally for our families loved ones and for our community as a whole. It is an unprecedented time where we are told to stay home and restrict and minimise our movements and interactions with family and friends. This i am sure is taking its toll on people, if you are feeling depressed emo...tional or just need someone to talk to during this time, please reach out, whether its to a friend by phone or contacting a medical professional, it is important that you we understand that we are not alone and we are all in this together. COVID-19 will not get the better of us and together we will come out the other with a better understanding that life is precious, family is precious and there is so much more to life than the material things that seem to consume us each and every day. take the time to smell the roses,and cherish the time we have been given to reconnect with the very loved ones that are with us each and every day. 06.01.2022 This song and this young lads performance goes out to a very close late friend of mine Uncle John Kanaris, John spent many years as a volunteer, soccer player and coach, Kafetzi and Chanter at our community church, his community spirit and contribution was second to none. It was unfortunate as a result of COVID we were unable as a community to pay our respects and give him the proper send off, so in a token of respect i would like to post this in his Memory. RIP Uncle John May your memory remain forever eternal.
