They can carry immensely heavy loads, their tears have healing powers and they make highly faithful pets. It is also a rare corporeal form of a Patronus charm, which Hogwarts headmaster, Albus Dumbledore’s is - mirroring his faithful Phoenix, Fawkes.

06.01.2022 O is for owls. Owls are commonly used to deliver communication within the wizarding community. Hagrid gave Harry a snowy owl as a present for getting into Hogwarts. Harry named him Hedwig.

06.01.2022 So happy to be back in one of my happy places for a much-needed break, albeit short. This trip also marks the first of many sister trips @liricamore and I will (hopefully) embark together. We’re having so much fun and managing not to kill each other

05.01.2022 M is for Mirror of Erised. An ancient, ornate mirror that shows the most desperate desire of a person’s heart. Men have wasted away before it, not knowing if what they have seen is real, or even possible. I think if I look into the Mirror at the moment, it would show that COVID19 and diseases disappear, and normalcy returns in our lives. But alas, it is not the current reality but we can help by doing our part - social distancing and being compassionate and kind during these difficult times. Wishing you are well, wherever you are now dear friends. This too shall pass.
