14.01.2022 There’s a few new faces around here so I thought I’d take a moment to say Hello! I’m Amy. A little about me, the maker: I’m a jeweller, designer & gemmologist and get to use fun letters after my name when I want to sound important I’m 31 years old... I live in Geelong and make from my little home studio with help from lovely Erin packing your orders. I was 10 when I decided I wanted to be a jeweller and had my first job in the industry at 16 I’m mum to two small people - Nora & Dot I married my high school sweetheart I live and breathe nature and must always be surrounded by it...always. I love my garden and am a novice preserver. There’s just something so magical about opening a jar and eating something you grew yourself weeks, months, even years ago. My favourites so far are; orange jam, white peaches in brandy syrup, blood orange cordial and orange liqueur There’s a movement of creatives throwing aside fear and pursuing their creative dreams which excites me oh so. And there’s an equally exciting movement in communities seeking out, connecting with, knowing and supporting these creatives. It’s wonderful knowing the hands that made the things you love. I’ve always thought of jewellery as art you don’t just look at but also get to wear. Jewellery is one of the most sentimental forms of art, and I am so honoured when a piece my own hands have made becomes a symbol of one of your most precious people or moments in your life. xA

Nora insists on choosing her outfits most days and even tries to choose my clothes sometimes Those of you who know me know half my wardrobe is @frankanddollys and they are by far my most loved and worn pieces. These Mona culottes are no exception, they are more than a bit special. 01.01.2022 The sweetest set for one of the loveliest people I know. Its been a while since Ive shared a bespoke make with you all. Two little people just doesnt allow much bench time at the moment, but when a lovely friend asks...well you just make time! In the middle of iso and all!! This sweet set was made using inherited rose gold, and diamonds (all except two smalls in the engagement ring) and new white gold for the wedder. ... I do love giving old pieces new life...to continue the story of old loved pieces passed down from family members. Not only adding to the sentiment of the new piece, but lessening the environmental impact And can I just say Im more than a little in love with old cut diamonds...theres just something about their soft, slightly imperfect sparkle that makes me weak at the knees.
