25.01.2022 Call us biased, but we think the best coffee in the world is the one brewed in a traditional Arabic pot called a Rakwe. Enter almost any Middle Eastern home and you are sure to be immediately greeted with three-kisses, the sweet fragrance of Khawi, and the insistence that you must stay for a drink. We strongly recommend you do.... And if someone offers to read your cup, take that up too! Ok. Were all about social distancing right now but this question is for our cheek-kissing followers. Are you usually a two or three kiss person?

24.01.2022 I scream, you scream, we all scream for Booza. This ice cream style, born in the Levant, is made with milk, cream and a couple of secret ingredients to give it is signature stretch. These include salep (a flour made from orchid root) and mastic (a resin that comes from the mastic tree).... Popular flavours include pistachio, apricot and meshakal - a delicious mix that is certain to cool you down during hot Mediterranean Summers. 24.01.2022 Can we get you a drink, Habibi? Dont even bother trying to refuse the hospitality of the Middle East because we guarantee, theyll keep on insisting, until you agree! Not that we think youll be able to resist a classic fruit cocktail (or two).... Basically, a smoothie of pureed avocado, layered with a medley of chopped fruits and topped with ashta cream or ricotta cheese, toasted nuts and honey, it brings a taste of Lebanon a little bit closer to home! Generally dried then crushed, its beautiful deep-red colour, fruity undertones and aromatic flavour have seen it venture beyond the borders of Syria, and utilised in a number of dishes across the region.
