25.01.2022 Partnering with our wonderful friends at the Foundation for the WA Museum, PAV produced this year’s fundraiser in spectacular style. Guests were offered the first glimpse of Boola Bardip with events spaces dotted throughout the museum. In addition to the event management, styling, print, bars and furniture PAV supplied gallery space AV, main stage lighting, PA and LED screens.... Photos courtesy of 7 to 1 Photography

17.01.2022 PAV proudly provided the technical production for this year's Disrupted Festival of Ideas, hosted by the State Library of Western Australia. In its new semi-outdoor format, the main stage and activations were located outside in the sun-filled Perth Cultural Centre Amphitheatre. The day was packed with challenging topics, children's activities, and musical intermissions from a range of WA-based artists.... As the sun set, PAV powered a visual projection extravaganza against the State Library produced by our friend Frankensound followed by the Disrupted Supergroup playing all the classics.

14.01.2022 Take a behind-the-scenes look at how we created the Hackett Hall 3D projection for the Perth Festival City of Lights.

12.01.2022 Key artists and Festival Director Iain Grandage convened this morning to promote the launch of the 2021 Perth Festival. Following the (post lock-down) rescheduling of close to 150 productions, this year's Festival is live and runs until March 14. Highlights include Tim Minchin, multiple theatre and music productions and "Projections at City of Lights" (link below) brought to life by PAV Events.... #projection #projectionmapping #cityoflights City of Perth

11.01.2022 Over 300 business leaders attended The CEO Institute WA Leading Through Adversary Summit at Optus Stadium this week. Speakers Rebecca Tomkinson from Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia - WA, David Carter from Austral Fisheries, and Stephanie Unwin from Horizon Power discussed a range of topics across leadership, safety, change and uncertainty, environmental sustainability, and customer perception. PAV provided a clean audio visual setup to retain the stunning uninterrup...ted views of the Swan River and Perth city skyline. Simplicity doesn't mean the event lacked technology though, with Shure radio microphones, an L'Acoustic PA system, ultra-bright projectors, and a broadcast quality camera. PAV also supplied exhibition AV equipment including a 75" TV screen on a purpose-built truss stand.

08.01.2022 Boola Bardip, Western Australia’s new museum was opened late last month and PAV Events was proud to partner with several clients to produce key launch events over the past fortnight. From the stunning Foundation for the WA Museum’s ‘Night At The Museum’ fundraiser, corporate launch events to the official opening of the spectacular new addition to Perth’s cultural landscape.

08.01.2022 PAV Events has recently made a significant lighting investment for both our valued venue partner, Optus Stadium, and base stock. After lengthy trials of several fixtures, the choice to purchase Show Technology’s ShowPRO LED Pluto Range was an easy one. A mix of moving, spot and wash lights have been installed within Optus Stadium’s Riverview Ballrooms that provide stunning textures and incredible modern effects.... A total of 16 x Pluto 350 spots, 20 x 2000 washes and 4 x 4000 washes have been installed and are supplemented with a further 32 fixtures housed at our Perth warehouse. Thanks to Mike Bird and the team from Show Technology Australia & New Zealand for your support and advice.

06.01.2022 The Perth Cultural Centre has been transformed into a world of colour, light and sound for the Perth Festival City of Lights. Watch our interactive 360 video and check out some behind the scenes shots.

05.01.2022 After four years of redevelopment, WA’s new $400M museum was opened by Premier Mark McGowan late last month and powered by PAV. The historic ceremony featured opening speeches, the Wadumbah Dance Group and the all-important plaque reveal and ribbon cutting. Witnessed by several hundred dignitaries, elders and the successful (and very lucky) ballot entrants, this was both a significant and memorable event.... PAV broadcasted vision to our two 2 x 2 LED screens as well as the Perth Cultural Centre screen and relied on our L-Acoustics Kara PA to deliver crucial audio. Our thanks to WA Museum Boola Bardip and Perth Festival for entrusting PAV to deliver on the big day.

03.01.2022 It was a pleasure to assist the Road Safety Commission and Police Minister Michelle Roberts in launching their new road safety campaign for the Christmas holiday period. A reminder to all to stay safe and alert behind the wheel. Double demerits are in effect from Friday, 18 December 2020 to Sunday, 3 January 2021. #savinglivestogether #roadsafety
