25.01.2022 Whilst exploring and trying new places over the weekend, why not take a scenic drive to the Experience Perth Hills for an authentic pub experience at The Parkerville Tavern. Steeped in history and commonly known as The Parky, this 1902 double-story federation family pub and restaurant is a local favourite and is ideal for friends, couples and families with several seating areas indoors, a large beer garden and a great playground for the kids. The Parky offers live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon and is open 11am until late every day.

Beginning its life as Perth’s first maternity hospital in the 1900s, the museum today occupies the heritage-listed Harvey House in Subiaco and displays many facets of medical history including nursing, dentistry, early medicine and the famous Royal Flying Doctor Service as well as traditional aboriginal medicine. It's a hands-on, educational experience, so it's also a great activity for children. The museum is open Wednesday from 10.30am 4pm and the second Sunday of every month from 2pm 4pm. Admission is $5 for adults and $1 for children.

Located in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre, Boola Bardip means ‘many stories’ in local Nyoongar language. The museum is a stunning new building with deep historical roots and its dramatic new design links contemporary architecture with the historic and heritage-listed buildings, creating a visual landmark for the State. Eight permanent galleries are featured, each hosting an extraordinary exhibition.
