25.01.2022 We are back from an amazing time in Europe and full of inspiration. This little combo is my favourite trio. The Italians call it ‘Soffritto’, the French call it ‘Mirepoix’, the Spanish call it ‘Sofrito’, the Germans have a version they call ‘Suppengrün’ and the English call it ‘carrots, celery and onion’! :) I also like to add my little friend, garlic. These guys are the foundation for so many dishes soups, casseroles, sauces, roasts... the list goes on. Hmmm - tonight I think they will become Shepherd’s Pie! #whatsfordinner #shepherdspie



23.01.2022 It's Tuesday, which means its time to announce the winners of the competition. It was a toughy and I couldn't decide between a couple of entries so I have decided on 2 winners and to give away 4 books (as the boss lady I can make these decisions!). I loved the way these ladies had each others backs and doubled their chances. Clearly the best of friends. 09.01.2022 Heading to Bistro Morgan for doughnuts this afternoon. So excited to try the doughnuts but also really excited for my boys to meet such an amazing and inspiring kid. Only dilemma is choosing just one flavour ...



06.01.2022 So the choices were ... Cherry Ripe, Caramello Koala and White Chocolate Orio with custard centre. I was worried that they may be low on stock mid arvo but Morgan said they make them fresh throughout the day. He was such a gorgeous and impressive kid. Our kids were in awe of what he has achieved.
