We are working through bookings in date order and are still experiencing very long delays to receive information. Many airlines, tour companies etc are no longer taking calls and only offer email communication with very slow turnarounds. Information and policies are changing da...ily, if not hourly, which makes it very hard to keep everyone up to date. Many of the current policies only include people travelling up to approx 31 May, so these are the only bookings we are currently working on. As June/July approaches, or when policies are provided for people travelling beyond this time, we will then be in contact with you. 07.01.2022 If you can spare 2 minutes, heres a video that gives an insight into the hardships our industry is currently facing. For the last 6 months, our agency has been working hard dealing with approximately 223 cancelled bookings. To put this into perspective, a normal year would see us cancel approx 5 bookings. Most of these bookings contain multiple components such as air, hotels, tours, cruises, car hire etc, which takes many hours and countless emails/phone calls to undo th...e hard work we previously did during the initial booking process. The slow refund turnaround from suppliers has only added to our frustration and stress. Unfortunately, cancelling bookings does not produce any income and we have been left with no new product to sell, due to border closures. In short, 100% of our income has been taken from us since the pandemic hit. This worldwide pandemic has simply decimated our industry. We are calling on the Federal Government to fund the Travel Agent Support Package to help keep our industry alive. 06.01.2022 Amended Office Access Please note that due to the current COVID-19 situation, and to comply with Government regulations, our office doors will remain closed until further notice. While our doors remain closed, please be assured that our staff are working very hard behind the scenes (in the office and remotely) to assist our valued clients with re-accommodating their current bookings....
