23.01.2022 ***Kids Gratitude Workshop*** Thursday 11th April @lightspaceyoga (Balwyn) Our beautiful kids gratitude holiday workshop will use yoga poses, partner work, fun games, craft, and a calming meditation to encourage your child to better understand and feel the benefits of being grateful. In the world we live in, it is so easy to look at what we aren’t/ don’t have/ haven’t done, and forget all we are/ do have/ have done. This workshop will give kids the opportunity to pause and re...flect on all they are and all they have. Gratitude is a powerful way to let go of feelings of anger, anxiety, jealousy, and find acceptance, confidence, self-worth, and better connect with and appreciate the world around them. In our workshop we will delve into each child’s super strengths as we explore self-gratitude. We will also look into the key things we are grateful for in our homes, schools, friendships, community, and the greater world around us. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced kids yogis and will either be a fabulous introduction or a welcome refresher on the magic of movement, meditation, and relaxation on your mat. Our workshop includes: *Partner activities to help bond, build acceptance, and appreciation for others *Movement that will inspire self-reflection, purpose, motivation, and positive thinking *Introduction to breathing techniques that will bring focus, calm and clarity *A gratitude craft to take home with you *We will finish our session with a beautiful gratitude meditation and relaxation.
